Over the next few moments,
We are going to intentionally recollect your scattered energy.
So you can return back to yourself in this present moment.
So take a moment to just acknowledge yourself for choosing to pause.
Wherever you are,
Begin by bringing your attention and awareness to your body.
Feel your body connecting with the support beneath you.
Notice how you don't have to do anything to earn this support.
Gravity and the Earth are always available to you.
To ground you.
Take a gentle breath in.
And release it slowly.
See if you can make the exhale a little longer than the inhale.
Take another deep breath.
Comfortable breath in.
A little fuller now.
And on the exhale,
Allow your shoulders to drop away from your ears.
Relaxing the jaw.
Allowing any tension that you might be holding onto to just soften.
You do not need to force your body into relaxation.
Simply notice where it is that you can soften.
I'd like you to simply notice where your attention has been traveling.
Perhaps part of you is thinking about something that happened earlier.
Possibly anticipating something that hasn't happened yet.
Maybe you're mentally juggling responsibilities,
Conversations,
Expectations,
Or unfinished tasks.
Without needing to resolve any of them.
Imagine gently gathering all of those thoughts.
All those worries or unfinished tasks and placing them into an energetic box.
This box can look like whatever you would like it to.
And know that you can return to them later.
But for now,
They don't need your attention.
And as you set them aside.
Notice your tension.
Beginning to come back towards yourself.
How you are calling your energy back to this moment.
Back from every conversation.
Every responsibility.
Calling all of you back into your body.
Into this moment.
There's nothing you need to do.
Simply imagine or pretend that this is occurring with each inhale.
You are receiving more of you back into the present moment.
And with each exhale,
You are releasing what is not needed in this moment.
And simply allow yourself to be present with your breath.
Now,
From this place of greater awareness,
Ask yourself,
Am I actually?
In need of.
Perhaps it's rest.
Maybe it's support,
Movement,
Nourishment.
Connection.
Or even just a little space to yourself.
This is simply an invitation to begin listening to that quiet inner knowing.
And if nothing came through,
That's okay too.
Maybe this is the only thing that you need right now.
Begin to bring your awareness back to the space that's around you.
Notice the sounds.
The clothes against your skin.
The ground beneath you.
And if there's any gentle movement that your body is asking for,
It is welcome.
Perhaps rolling your neck or shoulders,
Stretching your fingers or rotating your torso would feel welcoming.
And as you return to your day,
Remember.
You can always pause.
You can always take a moment to find your breath.
To come back to yourself.
And from that place,
You get to intentionally choose how you want to move forward.
You've got this.
