Welcome to your forgiveness meditation,

To begin,

Close your eyes and find a comfortable position.

I want you to focus on breathing in and out very slowly.

Slow your breath right down and just gently breathe in and out.

Notice how gently your body moves,

Just the simplicity of a breath in and out and your body is calm and at peace.

Continue to focus on your breathing,

Breathing in slowly and exhaling slowly.

You are very relaxed,

The air you breathe is bringing you energy.

Take a deep breath in and slowly exhale out.

Now I'd like you to bring your awareness internally to your body and I want you to notice any areas that feel a bit stagnant.

Perhaps they're blocked,

Perhaps they're a little bit cloudy.

As we move through your body,

You're going to use your breath to clear the space.

Let's begin.

Start with the top of your crown.

Moving through your head,

The eyes,

Nose,

Mouth,

Chin.

Relax your head and your neck.

Relax your shoulders.

Do they feel stiff?

Are they sore?

Readjust your shoulders a little bit.

Tell them to relax.

Down through your upper back,

To your middle back,

Through to the base of your spine.

Remember to keep breathing deeply,

Bringing air through your body,

Moving through any places that feel like they need a little bit more extra love or attention or care.

And now let's keep moving down.

The base of your spine,

To your pelvis,

The top of your legs,

Your knees,

Your ankles,

Your feet,

Your toes.

Your whole body is very relaxed.

And continue to breathe in and out gently,

Moving that beautiful,

Loving,

Nurturing air through your body as you slowly breathe in and out.

You are very calm and at peace.

I'd like you to imagine you are standing and you are holding a very heavy box.

What does the box look like?

Can you feel the edges of the box?

Top of the box?

Base of the box?

Now I want you to feel the weight of the box.

Your shoulders are starting to hurt a little bit.

And your fingertips are feeling very sore.

This box is far too heavy for you to hold anymore.

But you can't seem to let it go.

Inside that box is actually your emotional feeling of guilt for yourself.

It's an energy emotion that you have been carrying around for far too long.

But before we reveal what's inside,

We need to revisit this past lesson one last time before we completely let it go.

I want you to take yourself to the moment in time where you hurt yourself.

It's an experience where you disappointed yourself.

Perhaps you said or acted in a way that you wish you didn't.

Or maybe something happened and you didn't do anything but you really wish you did.

I want you to envision that moment very clearly in your mind.

Remember that you are in a safe place.

No one can harm you here.

Can you remember what you were wearing?

Do you remember the way the place smelt around you?

Or perhaps the temperature?

Was it warm or cold?

Replay the scenario in your mind as to what happened and how it played out.

You're in a safe place.

No one can harm you here.

I want you to tell yourself that you handled the situation the best way that you could at that time.

Say it out loud.

I handled the situation the best way I knew how to.

You acted accordingly to your level of consciousness at the time.

There was nothing more for you to do.

It played out exactly how it was.

Now it is time to forgive yourself.

Repeat after me.

I forgive myself.

Take a deep breath in and slowly exhale out.

I forgive myself.

And another deep breath in and slowly exhale out.

I forgive myself.

And one last deep breath in and slowly exhale out.

It's time to let go.

I let go of my past and heal the pain from within my heart center.

Feel the emotion that was felt.

Imagine the emotion is a blue light that is being pulled from your chest through into the box.

Feel the box become even heavier.

All of the emotion of sadness and guilt is being pulled from you into that box in your hands.

You are detaching yourself from this pain.

And when you place the box down on the ground,

You are going to feel so much lighter.

And you are going to forget this experience and let it go.

Let it rest and remove it from your mind once and for all.

Sink deeper into your feet.

Feel the ground supporting you.

Place the box on the ground and push the weight of the energy through with it.

Completely let it go and release it from your mind.

You do not have to carry this burden anymore.

You will let it go right now.

And you will never pick it up again.

We are going to take three deep breaths.

And with each exhale,

You are going to let it go even more.

Inhale and exhale.

Let it go.

Inhale and exhale.

Let it go.

And one last time.

Inhale and exhale.

You have now let it go completely.

And take another deep breath in.

And exhale out.

And on this last exhale,

I want you to blow all the air out of your lungs completely possible.

Are you ready?

Inhale very deeply.

And exhale everything all at once.

And again.

Inhale very deeply.

And exhale everything all at once.

And back to normal breathing.

You are very relaxed and at peace.

You feel so much lighter than before.

You are re-energized and ready for the day ahead.

And you feel strong,

Confident and beautiful.

When you are ready,

You may open your eyes.
