A meditation for releasing fear,
Welcoming love,
And allowing positive change.
Every emotion can be reduced down to love or the absence of love,
Which presents itself as a manifestation of fear in many forms.
As we walk through this global pandemic,
A lot of fear is coming to the surface.
Things we have been able to push down in the past are calling for our attention.
Our norms have been uprooted and our busyness has subsided or changed,
Leaving an open space to feel.
Many of us are not used to feeling.
We're used to checking things off,
Running around from place to place on autopilot,
Without allowing time or space to feel.
After living that way for years and then experiencing a stimulus that uproots every norm,
Many of us feel lost and confused,
Seeking stability or guidance and reassurance that everything is going to be okay.
This is where fear,
In its many manifestations,
Can sneak in.
Fear stands for false evidence appearing real.
It hooks us into believing its falsities through the absence of love.
Whenever fear or frustration,
Anxiety,
Depression,
Or anger shows up in our lives,
It acts as a guidepost or a sign that there is more room for love in this area.
It shines a light on something we need to change,
To honor,
To edit and open.
It might be a wound we've covered and buried but haven't necessarily healed.
It might be an old relationship we pushed aside that is simply begging for more.
It might be showing us how disconnected we are from our higher self,
Our inner voice,
And lend us an opportunity to recreate our connection and re-establish a strong foundation with who we truly are so we can walk through our days without this fear or negativity and be truly rooted in love and connected to our higher being.
The world is constantly in motion,
Ever-changing,
Holding on to the past or to outdated habits and routines for fear of the unknown creates a false sense of security.
Change is good.
Change is inevitable.
With this meditation,
I hope to provide you an opportunity to release your fears,
Find more comfort in the unknown,
And boldly step into your true self.
Let's begin.
Find a comfortable position and close your eyes.
Take three slow,
Deep breaths to get grounded in this moment.
Use each exhale to release any built-up tension,
Stress,
Or negative emotions.
Give yourself this space,
This opportunity to let go,
To surrender,
To feel.
It might feel scary or unknown at first,
But just know that on the other side of these emotions is a beautiful life waiting to fill you with abundance and joy and absolute bliss.
But you can't go around these emotions to get there.
There's absolutely no path around your emotions.
You have to go through.
So honor them.
Honor this space.
Thank yourself for creating this space and time to let yourself feel whatever it is you need to feel.
Let your fears bubble up without judgment.
Just let them be whatever it is they need to be in this moment.
Tune in to the sensation of fear.
Where do you feel it in your body?
If it feels good to you,
Place your hand there.
Feel this sense of knowing,
Of accepting your fear as it is.
Let your fear be heard and felt.
Allow any other emotions entangled with your fear to bubble up.
Imagine pulling a string out of this part of your body.
Every negative emotion is attached to this string and you're pulling each one out.
Giving each one its space.
Noticing each emotion.
Allowing yourself to fully feel every emotion through the absolute core of your being.
Giving each one this judgment-free space.
Keep pulling this string until you reach the absolute end.
Visualize yourself holding this entangled bundle of emotions and take a moment to thank them.
Send love and acceptance to each emotion.
It has served its purpose.
It has protected you and provided you comfort or justified your actions.
Thank these emotions for their time and send them off into the sky.
They no longer serve you,
So let them float away.
Notice any emptiness you may feel with this release and visualize a beautiful white or golden light pouring down into this emptiness,
Filling it with absolute love and healing.
Let this light nurture you,
Hold you,
Guide you.
Trust that you have fully released every negative emotion that was ready to be released in this moment.
Find comfort in this healing light of love.
Allow your hands and arms to relax and begin to see yourself walking along a timeline of your life.
Visualize yourself walking forward until you reach your life three years from now.

Notice yourself in this image,
Noticing as many details as you can.
Tune into the sights,
The sounds,
And the smells of your future life.
Notice your strength,
Your beauty,
And your presence.
And let yourself,
Your future self,
Guide you on a journey,
Showing you something you need to know to help you welcome more love into your current life.
Notice the peace and the comfort this brings your current self.
Allow yourself to sink into this feeling of safety,
Peace,
Love,
And beauty.
Thank your future self for taking you on this journey and carry some of this love and knowing with you today as you find yourself walking back along your timeline.
Feeling more fulfilled,
More worthy,
More loved.
Enjoy the bliss of this knowing and the comfort of feeling safe.
Enjoy the stability of knowing you are headed to a more beautiful,
Peaceful,
And loving life with every moment.
Slowly bring your attention back to your body,
Noticing your soothing breath and maybe wiggling your fingers and toes.
And whenever you're ready,
Slowly open your eyes.
