Close your eyes and settle your body into comfort.
If you can,
Make sure the soles of your feet are in full contact with the floor.
Begin by taking some deep breaths.
Inhale through your nose.
Exhale through your mouth.
As your breathing slows and deepens,
Allow the in-breath to fill your belly.
And as you exhale,
Let go of fatigue and tension and stress.
Feel the air surrounding you.
Feel it on your skin,
In your nostrils,
In your lungs.
As you breathe in,
You're drawing in energy from the air around you.
This energy courses through your body.
Picture it as white light.
The white light passes into your lungs,
Across your chest,
Into your shoulders,
Your arms,
And down to your fingertips.
It passes into your internal organs,
Down your back,
Your torso,
Your hips,
Down your legs,
All the way to your toes.
It passes up your neck,
To the base of your skull,
Into your brain,
Into your face,
And you are filled with energy from the air around you.
Now feel the contact your feet make with the floor.
Imagine that they are a conduit for energy from the earth beneath you.
Picture white light being drawn through the soles of your feet,
Up into your legs,
Your torso,
Your spine,
Your back muscles,
Your shoulders and arms,
Right up to the top of your head.
You are filled with energy from the earth beneath you.
Your body is full of white energizing light.
This restorative energy allows your spine to align.
It washes away fatigue.
Your muscles are awakened and ready.
Your brain is alert and focused.
When you are ready,
You will open your eyes,
Feeling refreshed and replenished.
