Sit or lie comfortably with your spine in alignment if possible.

Close your eyes and bring your attention to your breath.

Notice the pattern of your breathing,

The frequency of your breaths.

Notice which parts of your body move as you breathe in and out.

Place your hands on your belly and now take a deep cleansing breath right into where your hands are.

Deep into your belly,

In through your nose,

Out through your mouth.

In and out.

In and out.

In and out.

Feel your belly expand into your hands with your breath.

And allow your breathing rhythm to settle.

Gentle,

Slow,

Natural,

Flowing deep into your belly.

Picture the oxygen flowing around your whole body like waves of nourishment.

Picture your heart beating strong but steady and your muscles settling,

Releasing,

Softening.

Give your body permission to let go in this moment so you can be fully present with your breath.
