Disturbing intrusive thoughts can leave you feeling shaken, ashamed, frightened or unsure of yourself. This gentle guided practice is for those moments when OCD pulls you into analysing what a thought means, checking your reactions, or trying to prove something about who you are. Rather than getting drawn further into the thought, you’ll be guided to turn towards yourself with warmth and compassion, make space for the fear and uncertainty, and gently reconnect with the life around you. A calming practice for when intrusive thoughts feel especially distressing, vivid or difficult to let go of.
