This meditation took me to a wonderful place. It allows you to build your own illuminous refuge, and for me that conjured old memories that filled up my heart center to overflowing. I did this on a Sunday as part of my own spiritual practice, and it was just perfect for that. It is concise to fit into a personal asana yoga pratice. But it is also profound to combine with other forms of meditation such as Metta loving-kindness practice or Tonglen giving-and-taking or Vipassana mindfullness. But I will also come back to it as a standalone practice when I need to find a center in a busy day or still anxiety and rajas within me.
