Hello everyone,

I'm so glad you're here,

Ready to explore something that feels both simple and profound,

And that is the blessing of not knowing.

In our world of instant answers,

Where Chad GPT and countless experts fill in every blank,

We can forget the power that lives in mystery.

But what if embracing,

I don't know,

Is the gateway to deeper connection,

Richer curiosity,

And the quiet wisdom of our own hearts?

In today's meditation,

We will gently guide you into that open space,

Helping you discover how uncertainty can become your ally.

Find a comfortable posture,

Either seated or lying down,

Wherever you can be at ease and alert.

Soften your gaze,

Or gently close your eyes,

And rest your hands softly in your lap,

Or by your sides.

Let's take 3 nourishing breaths together,

Inhale and exhale,

Last one,

Inhale and exhale.

Feel the support of the ground beneath you,

Holding you,

Even if and when life feels uncertain.

Bring your attention to your mind,

Notice any questions or uncertainties you're holding,

Whether big or small,

Perhaps you're seeking clarity about your path,

Your relationships,

Or simply what to cook for dinner,

Observe how it feels to hold those questions.

Is there any tension around the edges of your mind?

No need to fix or solve,

Just acknowledge.

Now imagine those questions as gentle waves on a vast ocean.

The waves rise and fall,

They're part of the ocean's mystery,

As you breathe,

Invite each question to rest on the surface,

Carried by the water,

Without demanding an answer.

If each inhale,

Say silently,

Here is my question.

If every exhale,

Say,

Here is my openness.

Notice how allowing the question room to breathe,

Create space around it,

Shift your focus to the space between your thoughts,

The silent expanse where pure curiosity lives,

Because in that space,

There's no rush to know,

You can simply notice,

I don't know,

And that's okay.

If a thought insists on an answer,

Greet it too with kindness,

Thank you for asking,

I'll sit with you a little longer.

Feel how your chest and belly soften each time you choose openness over fixation,

Bring your awareness to the heart centre,

And sense that within you lies a quiet well of wisdom that doesn't need words or solutions,

It's always present,

Waiting in the stillness.

Rest here for a few breaths,

Anchoring in the knowing that some answers come in their own time,

And that the fertile ground of not knowing can nurture them.

Let's take one final deep inhale,

Drawing in trust,

And exhale,

Releasing any lingering tension.

Gently wiggle your fingers and your toes,

Feeling fully back in your body,

And when you're ready,

Open your eyes.

You carry this practice into your day,

Whenever you feel the urge to force an answer,

Pause,

Take a breath,

And remember the blessing of not knowing,

Because in this openness you invite curiosity,

Connection,

And the gentle wisdom of your own unfolding journey.

Thank you for sharing this meditation with me,

May you be well.
