Hello and welcome to this peaceful meditation.

I would like to invite you to take a few minutes away from whatever you are doing.

Find a comfortable position,

This could be sitting or lying down.

And when you are comfortable,

Allow your eyes to gently close and come down into your breath,

Into your body.

Take a long slow deep breath in.

And then slowly exhale,

Just allow any tension to melt away as you gradually relax more and more deeply with each breath.

Take another long slow deep breath in.

And when you exhale,

Empty your lungs completely with your out breath.

Continue breathing in and out.

If you find your mind wander to thoughts about the day,

That's perfectly okay.

Let those thoughts come and go and allow yourself to come back to focus on your breath.

Take a moment to relax your body.

Notice how your body feels and make some slight adjustments to increase your comfort.

Allow your body to relax more and more deeply with each breath.

Now begin to create a picture in your mind.

Imagine a place where you feel completely at ease.

A place where you not only feel safe but you feel calm and you feel truly happy.

This might be a favorite place that you have been before or somewhere you have seen and always wanted to go.

Or it might be completely imaginary.

It's up to you.

This is the perfect place in your mind's eye.

This is your sacred place.

Picture this place where you feel happy and calm.

Create the details about this beautiful place in your mind.

Visualize what it looks like.

What do you see around you?

It may be filled with natural features,

Luscious green vines and tropical plants.

It could be completely mystical and magical.

Notice what sounds do you hear?

What sense can you smell?

Imagine how you feel physically in this magical place.

You are comfortable,

Enjoying the pleasant temperature,

Enjoying being still and relaxed.

Enjoy the way you feel in this safe space.

Remain in your peaceful place while you meditate calmly and fall deeper into relaxation.

While you are in this beautiful place,

Imagine that all of the following affirmations are true for you right now in this moment and enjoy the peace that you experience.

Repeat each affirmation in your mind or out loud and use your imagination to fully believe every word.

I imagine and believe that all of these affirmations are true for me.

Everything is working out for me.

I deserve to relax.

I deserve to be happy.

I care for myself.

I take time for myself.

My future is bright and positive.

I handle difficulties with grace.

I am always doing the best that I can.

I forgive myself for my mistakes.

I accept the person that I am.

I accept my flaws and I embrace my strengths.

I am perfectly alright just the way I am.

I am at peace with myself.

I accept myself.

I feel good about who I am today.

I am a valuable human being.

I am beautiful.

Think again about your peaceful place.

Picture yourself enjoying this beautiful environment.

Acknowledge the feelings you are experiencing after repeating your affirmations.

Accept any positive or negative feelings you are having and allow yourself to feel calm and at peace.

Letting in and letting it out.

While keeping your eyes closed,

Now it is time to leave your special place.

Please know that you can return here in your imagination anytime to relax,

To feel comfortable and safe.

Take with you the feelings of acceptance of yourself and feel free to repeat any of these affirmations to help you feel at ease.

You can now wake up your body by wiggling your fingers and toes.

Slowly opening your eyes,

You may continue on with your day,

Keeping with you a feeling of peace and calm.

Take a deep breath in and smile as you exhale.

You are ready to continue on your day with peace and love.
