This meditation invites you to imagine climbing a tall, beautiful mountain, feeling stronger and braver with each step. When you reach the top, enjoy the stunning view and the fresh air. As you relax, repeat positive affirmations to feel powerful and confident.

Hello and welcome to our meditation.
Thank you so much for joining me today.
Meditation is a way to help our body and our mind feel calm and relaxed.
And there are so many different ways that we can meditate.
In our meditation today,
We will be doing a visualization meditation.
Simply using our imagination.
For this meditation,
We will be imagining ourselves climbing a big mountain.
I recommend listening to this meditation as often as you need to.
You can choose to listen to it first thing in the morning to start off your day in a good mood.
You can also listen to it before bed to help you relax.
But it is especially helpful to do this meditation whenever you want to feel calm.
When you are ready,
Let's begin our meditation.
Start by finding a comfortable position.
You can do this meditation sitting or laying down.
And get yourself nice and cozy.
You can decide if you'd like to do your meditation on the floor,
On a chair,
On a couch,
Or on a bed.
Wherever you think you'll be comfy and cozy.
And if you need to,
You can go and grab anything to help you feel more comfortable.
If you want to get any pillows or blankets or stuffed animals.
Or if you're chilly,
You can get a sweater or socks.
If you would like,
You can pause the meditation to give yourself time to get the things that you need to feel comfortable.
Okay,
Now that you have everything that you need to help yourself feel comfortable,
You can sit or lie down in your comfy spot and we will begin our meditation.
Remember,
Meditation doesn't mean that you have to sit perfectly still the entire time.
It's okay if you need to move around a little bit to get more comfortable.
If you need to stretch or wiggle or if you're itchy,
Go ahead and scratch it.
And even if it's halfway through the meditation and you think,
I wish I was more comfortable.
Feel free to change your position anytime you need to.
And when you are comfortable,
You can gently close your eyes.
And we're going to start our meditation by taking a few deep breaths.
So let's breathe in together and breathe out.
Breathe in and breathe out.
One more time,
Breathe in and breathe out.
Good.
And remember,
If you notice yourself getting distracted or thinking of other things during your meditation,
That's totally normal and it happens to everyone.
Especially when we are meditating at home because we might have pets and family nearby.
We might hear noises and we might hear people talking and that's totally okay because it's easy to bring your attention back to your meditation.
All you have to do is listen to the music and listen to my voice and just take a few deep breaths to help your body relax even more.
So let's take a deep breath in and breathe out.
Breathe in and breathe out.
One more time,
Breathe in and breathe out.
Now with your eyes closed,
You can start to use your imagination.
And I want you to imagine that you are in a big meadow that's in a valley surrounded by mountains and hills.
And in this meadow,
The grass is long and it's soft as you walk through it and run your fingers through the grass.
You can imagine that there are thousands of tiny little flowers growing all around you and these flowers are all different shapes and sizes and colors.
So you can imagine your favorite flower and your favorite color and you can imagine their beautiful fragrance as you walk past them.
When you look up to the sky,
It is a beautiful light blue color with a few white fluffy clouds passing by and the sun is shining down on you.
It feels warm and comfortable.
You notice in front of you there is a large mountain and you admire this mountain and you think for a moment,
Wouldn't it be so amazing to be at the top of the mountain looking around and seeing everything down below?
So you think about it for a little bit and you decide that you can climb this mountain to get to the top and look at the view.
So you have made your decision and you're going to climb this mountain and you're very excited.
So you start walking towards the mountain along a winding path and as you get closer to this mountain you get more excited and you begin skipping and running.
As you get closer you see trees are growing around you and there's more rocks and boulders and then you finally get to the base of the mountain and you look up and realize how tall this mountain is.
But that doesn't faze you.
You are still so excited.
You know that you can climb this mountain.
You've done difficult things before and you have succeeded.
So you begin to climb the mountain.
You can decide if you'd like to climb the mountain with your arms and your legs or you can imagine that there is a gentle trail that winds around the mountain all the way to the top that you can walk along and hike up.
It's totally up to you how you want to climb this mountain.
So you begin your way up the mountain and you're excited and you can't wait to get to the top.
You believe in yourself because you know that you can do this.
You continue climbing up higher and higher and when you get to about halfway up the mountain about halfway up the mountain you stop for a moment and you look down below you and you realize how far you've come and when you look above you you realize how far you still need to go and for a moment you hesitate and you question if maybe you should turn around and go back down but right away you stop yourself and you say I can do this.
I can do this.
Remember you've done difficult things before.
You have set goals and you've achieved them.
You can do this.
So you keep going.
You keep climbing.
You continue your way up and you're even more excited now so you're going faster because you can't wait to get to the top.
You keep climbing and climbing and finally you reach the top of the mountain.
When you get to the top there is a flat surface that you can stand up tall.
You can see for miles and miles.
You see other mountains and hills all around you.
You can see lakes and rivers in the distance and you can see the beautiful meadow way down below you.
There are clouds that are floating by you and it feels so calm and peaceful at the top of this mountain.
You are proud of yourself for achieving your goal and so as you are feeling calm and peaceful at the top of this beautiful mountain,
You take a moment to sit down and admire the view and as you are relaxed here I want you to repeat the following words after me.
You can either say them out loud or quietly in your mind but as you are relaxed at the top of your mountain repeat after me I am strong I am brave I can do anything I set my mind to Good Let's take a deep breath in and breathe out.
Breathe in and breathe out.
One more time breathe in and smile as you breathe out.
You can now begin to wiggle your fingers and your toes.
You can stretch your body and you can open your eyes.
You did such a great job during our meditation today.
