Melissa has spent over 20 years as a dedicated student of meditation. She began teaching meditation techniques to teens and adults, expanding to teaching mindfulness in the workplace in 2015. She discovered the Mindful Self Compassion program and was inspired to become a trained teacher in 2016, obtained through the University of California San Diego Center for Mindfulness. With guidance, she believes anyone can learn tools for daily life to develop emotional resilience.
