Find a comfortable position,
Sitting or lying down,
And gently close your eyes.
Take a slow,
Deep breath in through your nose,
And a long,
Gentle exhale through your mouth.
Let your shoulders soften,
Let your jaw relax.
Allow your body to settle,
Like sand gently falling to the bottom of the ocean.
Begin to bring your awareness to your breath,
The rise and fall of your chest,
The natural rhythm that's always been there,
Steady and constant like the tide.
With each breath in,
Invite calm.
With each exhale,
Release what no longer serves you.
Imagine you are standing in a gentle breeze.
The air is warm,
Filled with the scent of new beginnings.
With each exhale,
You release the heaviness of shoulds and have-tos.
Let them drift away like autumn leaves carried by the wind.
See them fall softly to the ground,
Grateful for their lessons,
Ready to return to the earth.
Your breath feels freer.
Feel the new energy entering your body,
A gentle,
Golden light filling the spaces you just cleared.
This is renewal.
This is possibility.
As you breathe,
Silently repeat to yourself,
I trust the flow of life.
I am open to what is meant for me.
I get to begin again.
Let those words settle in your heart like soft sunlight.
Now bring to mind one gentle intention,
Something your soul longs for in this next season.
Hold it lightly in your heart.
You don't have to know how it will unfold.
You don't have to force or control.
Simply trust that the universe is already in motion,
Weaving it into your life in the perfect way,
At the perfect time.
Breathe into that trust,
Let it wash over you like warm light.
Take one more deep breath in,
And a slow exhale out.
Feel your body grounded and your spirit open.
When you're ready,
Gently wiggle your fingers and toes.
Bring your awareness back to the room.
And as you open your eyes,
Carry this knowing with you,
You are exactly where you need to be.
As you go about your day today,
Keep in mind these affirmations.
I release what was,
I welcome what is,
I trust what's to come.
Namaste.
