Namaste.
Welcome to this gratitude meditation.
My name is Lisa.
We so often get caught up in the everydayness of life we forget to reflect on or take time out to be grateful for what we do have.
Gratitude by definition turns what we have into enough.
This gratitude meditation focuses your awareness on things to be grateful for.
This meditation can be done indoors or outdoors,
Sitting or lying down.
Your eyes can be closed or you can simply soften your gaze.
Place both hands at your heart's center.
Take a deep breath in through your nose.
Exhale through your nose or your mouth.
Take another deep inhale into your nose.
Exhale fully and completely.
Take a moment to notice how you show up.
Relax your shoulders.
Relax that space behind your neck.
Soften the frown on your forehead.
Observe your inner landscape.
Take one more deep breath in and exhale fully.
You can repeat after me or listen with your mind eye.
I am grateful for this day.
I am grateful for my past as it has made me into the radiant soul I am today.
I am grateful for this amazing body that has helped me navigate and express the love that I am.
I am grateful for my beautiful mind to think,
Understand,
Plan my life and to create the life I want.
I am grateful for my eyes to see the beauty in this world,
The beautiful landscapes,
The vast oceans,
The smiles of strangers,
Children and babies.
I'm grateful for my mouth to speak the words of love and to taste the variety of delicious delicacies in this world.
For my nose to smell the fragrances,
My ears to listen to the various forms of music.
I am grateful for those that have taken care of me since my birth.
People that took care of me,
Nourished me,
Loved me and helped me grow into a healthy human being.
I consider these people my spirit tribe.
I am grateful for the people who have been critical of me.
They made me understand myself,
Learn from my mistakes and help me grow my consciousness and awareness.
I am grateful for the beautiful and challenging moments which made me learn,
Grow and express my divinity.
I am grateful for tools such as meditation that provide me the opportunity to manifest the life I want in this physical realm.
Every step you have taken,
All the choices you have made,
Everywhere you have been has brought you right here,
Right now.
Be grateful in this moment.
Take a deep breath in and slowly exhale,
Leaving room for whatever is next.
May you be happy.
May you be healthy.
May you be well.
