Namaste,

Radiant soul.

In today's world,

Much of our daily life is filled with negativity,

Tension,

Stress,

Dis- or non-connection,

In spite of modern technology and constant connection to handheld devices.

We long for freedom.

Freedom from pain,

Freedom from care,

Freedom from labor or difficulty,

Or freedom from constraint or suffering.

We long to live a life with ease,

Effortlessly.

This short guided meditation is intended to help you find that ease,

That effortlessness,

To help you get through your day,

Stressful or painful situations or times.

Come into a very comfortable seated position.

Place both your hands at your heart center.

Take a deep breath in and exhale fully and completely.

Take another deep breath in and exhale fully and completely.

Now close your eyes,

Or if you prefer,

Soften your gaze.

With your hands,

Press softly at your heart center.

Begin to feel the ease and softness of your breath as you now continue to breathe normal.

If thoughts start to come to your mind,

Simply acknowledge those thoughts and just as you would a cloud in the sky,

Let it move on,

But let it move on with ease,

With compassion,

Without any judgment or expectation,

Knowing that your mind is doing exactly what it's supposed to do.

Now bring your awareness to any part of your body that you might be feeling pain,

Discomfort or tension.

Take a deep breath in through your nose and as you exhale,

Send that escalation to that part of the body,

Noticing that you now may have eased that tension,

That discomfort or pain with that escalation.

Knowing that you can always access this ease,

This effortlessness every time you need to,

It is innately yours to access.

Take another deep breath in and exhale fully and completely.

I invite you now to repeat this affirmation either out loud after me or silently to yourself.

I live life with ease effortlessly.

I live life with ease effortlessly.

I live life with ease effortlessly.

Take one more deep breath in through your nose and sigh it out.

May you be happy.

May you be healthy.

May you be at peace with ease.
