It also includes the ability to make clear and conscious decisions regarding what relationships work in your life and which ones are a source of emotional, mental, spiritual, physical, and financial destruction. It also includes the courage to end relationships that make your life worse as opposed to better. Often, we are unaware of how our brains operate to keep us safe, rather than happy. If you were raised in a toxic environment, and you felt unsafe when you expressed an emotion, you may have been subconsciously programmed to fear expressing your authentic self. Although this is not your fault and it is normal, unless you awaken and make mental and emotional adjustments, it is possible your authentic self will remain silent while the default processes of the brain and mind control your decision-making.
