Hello.
Let's begin by finding a position that supports you and makes you feel really comfortable.
Now take a nice long slow inhale in,
And then open your mouth and just let it fall out.
Inner strength can be challenging to find when life feels overwhelming,
When time seems to be so busy,
Decisions can feel really hard to make,
Or standing up for what you know is right can seem insurmountable.
But your inner strength is a deep personal reservoir of resilience,
Courage,
And determination that resides within you.
It's always there.
It's the quiet force that helps us to face challenges,
To overcome adversity,
And remain grounded when things get tough.
It's so easy to see physical strength and to know how to build that,
But inner strength can feel more challenging to harness.
It's subtle,
It has a powerful presence,
And offers peace,
Confidence,
And steadiness to guide us through life's ups and downs.
But tapping into it doesn't always feel easy,
And that is what we are going to do today.
So to begin we are going to connect with our breath and find presence and stillness within.
Start by slowing down your breath,
Really focusing on your belly.
We want to really get the noise of the day out of our heads and be present in this moment.
Place the tip of your tongue against the ridge of the tissue behind your front teeth.
Keep it there while we do this technique.
Feeling your tongue in that pressure behind your teeth,
Inhale quietly through the nose for the count of four.
Now hold for seven.
Exhale releasing your tongue through your mouth making a whooshing sound for the count of eight.
Let's do that again.
Pressing the tongue behind the teeth,
Inhale for four.
And the key is to really quiet your breath.
Now hold.
And then release with a whoosh.
Breathing in again for four.
Hold.
And release slowly with that whooshing sound for eight.
Now release that breath.
Breathing in through the nose and out through the nose.
Continuing to focus on this breath slow and steady.
Breathing in and out.
Noticing your rhythm in your natural breath,
But following it,
Witnessing it.
Now I'd like for you to visualize a warm glowing light within your chest.
This light represents your strength.
As you breathe in,
I want you to see it brighten and grow with each breath.
As you inhale,
The light expands within you.
And then you exhale and it pushes it out even further.
Feel your body enveloped in this glowing warm light.
Feeling stronger as the light glows within and around.
Continuing to breathe in and out slow and steady,
Think about a recent challenge or difficulty you faced.
Remember how you felt during that time.
The emotions that went through you,
How you handled it.
What were the qualities within you that helped you overcome this difficulty?
Thinking of all of those things within you,
Imagine them within that glowing light,
Symbolizing the strength within you,
Allowing you to face that challenge.
See yourself illuminated in light,
Handling the situation with calm,
Confidence,
That feeling of strength radiating within you.
Really feel that emotion and that glowing light.
As you approach the situation that perhaps maybe you didn't handle the way you wanted to in the first place,
Turning it around and feeling that strength inside of you,
Understanding what that feeling is like,
Pulling from that light,
Showing up for yourself in that way.
This feeling is always in you,
And you can tap into that light anytime.
When life gets challenging,
That inner glow,
That calm confidence resides within you and you can pull from it.
Now silently repeat,
I am strong.
I am resilient.
I can handle anything that comes my way.
Visualize the light of your inner strength beyond your body,
That strength,
That resilience,
That ability to handle anything.
It's creating a protective aura around you.
Feel its warmth and energy.
Allow it to reassure you of that inner power and stability within you.
Feel that energy,
That inner power,
And see how it affects those around you.
Picture yourself walking down the street with that confidence,
With that inner glow,
That inner strength,
Knowing that whatever comes your way,
You can handle it.
All of the tools you have within you that have helped you overcome past difficulties,
They are always there.
You just need to tap into them.
Sense your shoulders pushing back,
Your posture taller,
That feeling of strength within you.
See it,
Feel it now.
Breathe into that.
Take a moment to feel gratitude for this superpower you have,
For this amazing inner strength that you feel inside of you.
Hold gratitude for taking the time to nurture and grow this inner strength,
To let it shine within you.
Feel that power and breathe in a nice,
Long,
Slow inhale.
Allow that glow within you to radiate all throughout your day,
Knowing that you can handle anything that comes your way.
Take another nice,
Long,
Slow inhale in through the nose.
Open mouth,
Let it fall out.
And when you're ready,
Open your eyes and come back carrying a sense of inner strength with you all day and beyond.
