
Is Goal Setting Working For You?
After being around goal setting business models for many years, I believe that the act of goal setting is only step one, even though you can spend considerable time mapping out these goals. This quick talk offers a heart led practice that I've used to bring that which I want into my world. Enjoy.

Hello beautiful beings,
Is goal-setting working for you?
Is goal-setting successful for you or have you just given up on setting goals and going with the flow?
Not that that's the bad thing but if you've never even tried because it just sounded too hard or unaligned if that's a word and the effort and structure of goal-setting just feels too hard.
But what about if you're setting goals,
Where and how are you setting them and what are they related to?
I just really wanted to drop in here and to give you an extra step,
Outline a step that I take to bring in,
If you like,
To attract that which I would goal-set for because I've been around goal-setting business models for a really long time and they made me tired because it's quite physical and I've always been,
Like you,
A heartfelt person and I do,
I believe that goal-setting,
The act of goal-setting,
The strategy of goal-setting is one step,
Maybe step one even.
So you can spend considerable time mapping out these goals in that strategy setup.
You can even choose colors for the goals,
You know,
There's things that you can choose and people will take you through learning systems but for me they never met the end result and the end result for me is that I'm attracting something that is fully integrated vibrationally into my world.
And how do I do it is what I'm going to tell you next,
Okay.
So the steps that I take are related to an embodied sensation process.
It's called embodied sensation manifesting and I have one that you can test for yourself,
A meditation that's here on the app on Insight Timer and it's called magic manifesting meditation.
It is going to take you through this so that you can start to remember it and bring it into your world more.
This meditation will give you an idea of how you can design your own heart-based process using something to grow something for you.
So what is an embodied sensation process?
Essentially it takes the strategy and the physical planning out of the limelight and leads us to feeling the emotions that will be felt once the goal is manifested or when you're moving closer to it when you can feel it and even workplace goals can be enhanced using this process because you may not want to do the work but the outcomes,
The outcomes are what helps you to embody the feelings,
The love.
So the meditation that I'm leading you to it identifies and expands on your feelings related to any dream,
Wish or goal.
It'll walk you through a lovely mind walk which helps you to flesh out feelings and allow them to land in your heart using your energy,
Holding the vibrations of these emotions inside your energy,
Inside your energy field.
It'll shine them,
It shines them out into the world and your energy feels an attractant.
For me it's a magnetizer,
It attracts what you're shining,
Like to like.
You would have heard that before too but there's a codicil attached to this method.
You're here in the here and now with your current vibration and your emotionally charged goals very likely relate to a vibration which you're heading towards.
Does this make sense?
So once you embody a new vibration and this is my way of seeing this process of course.
Once you embody a new vibration it lands in your heart library and waits there until there's a vibrational match to land in.
So a dream or a goal that you've germinated today with your beautiful vibrational thoughts will truly become alive when you embody that new vibration completely.
So how do you bring these two areas together so that your manifestation lands in your physical world?
Well without pressure or overthinking you can hold and grow the emotions in your heart by maintaining a gentle presence with them.
By this I mean that you create little emotionally charged physical reminders and place them in areas where you'll see them.
Take a breath now and just consider where you look all the time and how can you disrupt mildly the view by placing something there that reminds you of your goal,
Of the energy of your goal,
Of the feelings of your goal so that you see them and your whole presence is reminded of the vibrations and the emotions of that thing that began as a goal.
There's big magic in that,
Can you feel that?
So have another think,
Where are some good places where you can disrupt your everyday to the power of your new vibration?
What about the home screen on your tablet,
On your phone or even on the TV if you put like pictures on a scroll on your TV.
Put something on the fridge,
A photo or a smiley face or a word or two that just reminds you.
Put a crystal in your pocket,
One that you've charged with a new vibrational vision.
That's so easy to do,
You hold the crystal,
You hold the thought of your vision that you want it to be charged with and then you blow that vision into the crystal and ask it to hold it for you and remind you.
Have a picture in your workplace if you have a place where you sit at work and that can track your busy brain,
Your work brain.
Put a personal reminder in that place where you regularly have a cuppa or you meditate.
And what about in your view in the car,
Not to disrupt your driving but just so that your eyes catch a photo or a meme reminder.
Expand your imagination and discover ways that mean the most to you.
And then with that,
What you've got to do is actually note that you've seen the reminder and that allows your brain to see those as important.
Did that make sense?
So wherever you place reminders of your vibrational shifts that you want,
When you see them,
Just acknowledge it,
Even if you say thank you,
Or yay,
Or I'm smiling on the inside,
But acknowledge it so that it begins to be a part of your life.
And when you consider you haven't seen them enough,
Like sometimes you just don't see them,
Move them or change them,
Feel into where they should go next or what it should be next.
So if you're that someone who just zones out when goal settings mentioned,
How do you grow into new vibrations?
Well,
That's easy.
Do you know what you'd like to change in your world?
In changing a thing,
A feeling,
A happening,
You can just begin with how it feels now.
And if that feeling of now is a negative feeling,
What about looking at the opposite?
What is the positive feeling that will be the opposite of this negative feeling?
And that's what you begin with.
It helps you find some new feelings.
They might not always be applicable,
But it's a way to start.
It's a way to start if you're not that person that wants to write stuff down or have stuff around you.
Just take the feeling that you're feeling now,
Swap it out for the opposite into the positive and breathe that.
Use the embodied sensation process on that.
Even if you want to,
Use your five senses on that.
Hold the feeling into the positive and expand it with your senses.
You touch,
You smell,
You taste,
You sight,
You're hearing.
Embodying the magic of feelings and emotions,
Which celebrate your new vibration,
That's a powerful force.
And if you make it part of your day,
Where you can then drop into that in a mini process,
Like a micro process,
Which buffers the almost negative moments in life that bombard us,
You will find your vibration shifting.
It's a given as far as I'm concerned,
Because you are shifting the old into the new and you are pulling it into yourself,
Into your feelings.
You're allowing your brain to see the positive.
So do this.
If you want to,
Embody the magic of your feelings.
Feel the power,
Feel the power and go for it,
Go for it.
