Welcome to this meditation and welcome to Sleeping for Young Minds and we'll finish with drifting off into full sleep.

So it's all about you and how sleep helps everything in your life.

I wish to share nine interesting facts about young growing minds.

So if you are ready,

Sitting on the bed.

One is when you are young any type of music lessons can make you smarter.

Two is exercise is also good for the brain as much for the body.

Three,

Sleep loss lowers your IQ so really need to master that sleep bedtime routine.

Four,

Is learning is active not passive so testing yourself helps.

Five,

Is treats at the right time is a good reward.

Six,

Is happy kids create happy successful futures.

Seven,

Is looking up to peers adults is a great support for you.

Eight,

Is believing in yourself makes things happen.

And nine,

Is willpower helps you to achieve good results because you are focused.

Okay let's focus please on countdown to good sleeping.

One thing I realized is you are free to think what you wish once you go to bed and really it can be fun and enjoyable to really master your sleep time.

In a sense we are all masters of our own sleep for it is very much connected for helping the body to repair replenish and grow.

And the brain also loves to recharge,

Replenish and grow with knowledge.

But both need to switch off.

To switch off from each day and fully enter a good night all wrapped up in bed.

To replenish and repair themselves.

All of which takes many hours.

It is a part of your entire life.

It is very important.

So are you ready to focus totally on this.

For once the body and brain switches off then the fun part of sleeping and dreaming can naturally happen.

So welcome yourself into bed and to that pillow.

Please get comfortable.

Surround yourself in comfort,

Comfort.

Stretch the body if you wish.

Yarn if you like.

And breathe deeply.

Do whatever it helps to settle down in the next minute.

Now we all have an imagination and bedtime can be fun.

For one thing is for sure.

You are free to think about dreamy things,

Good things.

So to switch off you may wish to stare a little to relax the eyes.

For everything you have seen today is no longer in sight and is a sign to rest those eyes.

And everywhere you have been today is no longer around you.

Again a sign to rest.

Both are two clear signs to switch off.

And you can simply wish for a good day to follow.

And that each new day will be special.

With things that make you happy.

Just by thinking it is a good idea.

And will help you to flow.

Are your eyes ready to close?

For you can enjoy always free fun dreams.

Anything can be dreamt of.

Anything can be explored and enjoyed.

Whilst the body and brain switches off to bedtime.

So a feeling,

A feeling that bedtime is playful and fun.

And brimming with fun dreams.

So if you could go anywhere,

Somewhere really fun,

Where would you go?

Just thinking about it.

And if you could be with someone,

Anyone at all,

Who would you choose to be with?

Someone fun and interesting.

And whilst you think of some cool things,

I will tell you a tiny story to help you drift off.

If I could go anywhere,

I would go visiting another country.

Somewhere far away.

For travelling is fun too.

Maybe on a plane.

Sat on an aeroplane at the window.

Staring at all the clouds below me.

Or even travelling by ship.

But I was once told by someone that at nighttime,

When the stars come out,

How amazing and special it is.

For the stars reflects in the sea like a mirror.

And you cannot tell where each one separates,

But doubles the stars.

So thousands of stars looking absolutely beautiful and cosmic.

Just imagine twice as many stars.

Now who would I like to meet?

Maybe someone famous.

Someone I look up to inspires me.

Makes me smile.

Thinking of someone tonight,

Who shares an interest or talent.

And once you get used to making really good dreams,

You can do it each night.

So going to bed and bedtime routine is actually rewarding.

And free is the reward to think the best things ever.

How good I shall feel in this morning.

And if I feel really good,

Then all things will flow.

So sleeping is good.

I can master my sleep.

I am free to think and feel the best.

So sleep,

Sleep.

And just go on a dream journey.

Let that young mind enjoy good,

Regular sleep.
