Allow your eyes to comfortably close.
And breathe out.
Letting your body soften with the outward flow of your breath.
As the breath flows in a river out and away.
Come back down to the solid support beneath you.
Come to the steady ground below you.
Back to this present moment here.
Draw yourself back from where you lie scattered.
Back from all the yesterdays and tomorrows.
From the to do lists and concerns.
Let it all flow out on your breath.
Open your senses to this present moment here.
As you do so,
Become aware of the volume and set of your body.
Notice where the body is supported.
Notice where the body moves on your breath.
Notice where the body is covered.
Notice where the air touches the body.
Become aware of the steadiness beneath your body.
And stay here a while.
Your body meeting steadiness.
Merging with steadiness.
Notice the movement of your breath within the steadiness.
And allow yourself to soften into the steadiness.
Open the sensory receptors in your nostrils and savour the air flowing in.
The sensation of air entering,
Going deeper and leaving again.
And begin to sense the space around you.
In front of you.
Behind you.
To either side.
Notice you are breathing from this space and into this space.
Notice the gentle play of light and shade.
The tapestry of sounds.
Sense out to the horizons all around you.
And up to the height of sky high above.
One vast space.
Notice the spaciousness.
A field of energy and light stretching seamlessly from the air on your face to the horizons and way beyond.
You have all of this space for your body to breathe.
All of this space for your mind to breathe.
All of this space for you to breathe.
Breathe from this space.
You can breathe from the horizons if you like.
Breathe from the furthest horizons.
Breathe in the spaciousness.
Breathe it into your body.
Having more inner space,
More room to breathe.
Breathe it into your mind.
Give your mind a sky bath.
Breathe the spaciousness into you.
Take as much as you need.
Allow yourself to expand if you want to the size you are meant to be.
Take your time.
Move through every aspect of yourself allowing in spaciousness.
Right down to a cellular level.
Each cell breathing spaciously.
And when you are ready.
When you are ready,
Become aware of the dancing light all around you.
Every atom alive with the colours of the rainbow.
Living energy vibrating with light.
All around you,
Here and in the natural world.
Breathe in the light.
Breathe it deep.
Deep into your tissues and organs.
Breathe it into your blood and the waters flowing through you.
Breathe it into your bones.
Let every cell in your body open to receive the light.
Like warming golden sunshine.
Every cell in your body bathed in sunshine.
Breathing sunshine.
Renewing life giving light.
Breathe the light into places that may have got closed off.
Full up.
Ready or tired.
Open the windows of your mind and let the light into its every corner.
To lighten and renew your mind.
Filling you up from the tips of your fingers and toes to the top of your head with radiant light.
In your own time.
Become aware once again of the steadiness beneath your body.
The solid,
Steady ground that is home.
In this moment.
Allow yourself to connect down to the quiet power of the ground.
You have the depths of the planet.
Here.
For you now.
Quietly steady.
With its energy of renewal and cycles of rebirth.
The same crystals,
Minerals,
Water and vital energy exist within you.
The vast,
Natural transformer beneath you.
To recharge your energies.
Breathe its sustaining,
Restoring energy up into your body.
Recharge yourself.
Take as much as you need.
And when you are ready.
Come back to the movement of your breath.
The movement within the stadia.
Breathe into your centre.
Sense the spaciousness and light within you.
Feel the renewing,
Strengthening energy of the earth there too.
Give thanks for all of this.
And say,
I am renewed.
