And breathe out.

As you soften into sitting back,

In this moment,

Let the weight of your body be taken by the steady support beneath you.

Beneath it.

And allow the whole of you to breathe out.

Let go of what you no longer need to carry.

As you breathe in.

Welcome the beautiful stuff of life.

Connecting you to the horizons and beyond.

Notice the spaciousness.

Allow yourself as much space as you need.

Breathe with the space as you sit back,

Supported by steadiness.

And let go of what you no longer need to carry.

Draw yourself back.

Draw yourself back from the future and the past.

Come home to rest a while.

The soft air at your cheek.

The gentle play of light and shade.

The tapestry of sounds.

Let them all be there.

Lie back into the arms of the present moment.

Let them hold you.

Sense the natural world around you.

Its seasons and cycles unfolding.

The steadiness of Earth.

The spaciousness of sky.

The life-giving qualities of light and water.

All in process.

All in flow.

Give thanks to this beautiful universe that you are part of.

Thank the sky for giving you all of this space.

Thank the ground for its steady support.

Thank the air for giving you breath.

Thank the sun for giving you light and warmth.

Thank the water in all rivers,

Lakes and oceans for their ever replenishing flow.

Thank the exquisite beauty of nature for its inspiration.

Give thanks for all that is good in your life.

Give thanks to all that sustains and supports you.
