Welcome to The Daily Insight.
My name is Linda Hall and I'm a teacher here on Insight Timer.
Today's meditation will help to alleviate stress and restore your overall balance,
Using a combination of practices including mindfulness,
Grounding,
And breathing.
Allow your eyes to comfortably close.
Come away from your thoughts and breathe out in a long sigh.
As you do so,
Allow your body to soften and release what it's brought with it here,
And no longer needs to carry.
In your own time,
Become aware of the sensation as air enters your nostrils and leaves.
Notice the air is cool as it enters,
Warm as it leaves,
And become aware of your body's movements as you breathe.
The expansion of the in,
The release of the out.
Come down into your body's weight and volume.
Notice the surface directly beneath your body is steady.
Sit back onto the steadiness.
Allow the whole of you to sit back.
Breathe down to the steadiness.
Breathe up from the steadiness.
Let it steady you.
Draw yourself back from where you lie scattered,
Back home to your center.
To this moment here.
Notice that you're breathing from the space around you and out into it.
Notice the play of light and shade through your closed eyelids.
Let it be there.
Let everything be there.
As you sit back on the steadiness directly beneath you,
Sense the horizons spreading all the way around you and up to the height of sky above.
Notice the spaciousness.
You have all of this space for you.
Breathe the spaciousness into you.
Notice if a part of you is wanting things to be a certain way.
Let that part of you sit back.
Breathe out wanting things to be a certain way.
Notice if a part of you is waiting for the next thing to happen.
Let that part of you sit back.
Breathe out waiting for the next thing to happen.
Notice if a part of you is watching yourself closely.
Let that part of you sit back.
Breathe out watching yourself closely.
Allow your attitude to yourself to become kinder.
Let yourself know that it's completely okay to be exactly as you are right now.
In your own time,
Notice your body's weight being supported and the ebb and flow of your breath.
Notice your breathing from the space around you and out into it.
In this moment here.
And say the affirmation,
All is well.
All will be well.
When you are ready,
You can draw this meditation to a close.
