My name is Linda Hall and I'm a teacher here on Insight Timer.
Today's meditation helps you cultivate the healing energy of joy by connecting you with the life force within you and around you using a combination of practices including mindfulness,
Grounding,
Breathing and positive visualization.
Allow your eyes to comfortably close.
As you do so,
Breathe out down the full length of your body,
Allowing it to soften and release what it's brought with it here.
Take your awareness down to the contact the weight of your body is making with the surface directly beneath it.
Notice the surface is steady.
Sit back onto the steadiness.
Let it steady you.
Become aware of the ebb and flow of your breath.
Allow it to slow and lengthen in its own time.
Notice your breathing in from the space around you and out into it.
Become aware of the touch of the air on your face and body.
Sense the horizon spreading out into the distance and beyond.
Notice the spaciousness.
Breathe the spaciousness into you.
Breathe it deep.
As you do so,
Breathe in the life force of the universe.
Life force made up of dancing atoms of light connecting everything.
This light has the energy of renewal,
Positivity and joy at its center.
Welcome it into your being.
Let every cell in your body receive joy.
Give thanks for the joy.
Give thanks for all that is good in your life.
And in your own time.
When you are ready,
You can draw this meditation to a close and move forward with joy.
