Welcome to the meditation.

We will be focusing on the relaxation of our face muscles to let go of any tension and stress.

Find a comfortable sitting position,

Arms coming down on your hips.

Settle here and when you are ready,

Close your eyes.

Now I invite you to shift your attention from external objects to internal sensations.

Start noticing your breath.

Just observe how it goes.

Is your breath fast or slow?

How is your chest and the belly moving with every inhale and exhale?

Notice of any tension in the muscles on your face.

Notice the points you feel the tension and relax these areas with every exhale.

Relaxing the eyes.

Allow your eyes to stop in the middle and release the tension in the eye muscles.

Your eyes are relaxing.

Let them relax completely and thank them for their hard work throughout the day.

Now relax your mouth and cheeks.

Imagine like someone is gently put the hands on your head.

Relax the skin on your head.

Relax the skin around the eyes,

Skin around the lips,

Skin on the chin.

Imagine how your face is melting down.

Every muscle is relaxed.

And now your face is completely relaxed and you can start feeling the gentle smile is appearing on your face,

Appearing from the inside.

This is feeling of kindness and acceptance that comes and then shines through your face.

Take a long slow deep breath in and with a breath out gently open your eyes.

Thank you for this practice.

Namaste.
