Hi beautiful people let's do self compassion meditation.
I'm inviting you to take a deep breath in for the count of five inhaling one two three four five hold the breath for one and exhale for five one two three four five.
If you can't place your hand on your stomach and just become aware of your breathing as your stomach rises and falls repeat the same breathing technique breathing in for the count of five inhale one two three four five hold the breath for one exhale for five one two three four five one more time like this breathing for five one two three four five one breath pause exhale for five one two three four five I'm inviting you to practice the self compassion.
This self compassion is based on kindness and being able to receive that kindness from others.
So what I would like you to do I would like you to recall a memory of a loved one or a partner or a child or a friend someone in your life who has given you kindness and love and made you feel supported warm and loved.
I'd like you to connect to that feeling of warmth.
Take yourself back in memory how did that feel?
Did you receive it through the body language did you receive it through words maybe through the expression in their eyes the softness maybe that kindness you felt didn't need any words spoken.
You felt it connect to that feeling again right now bring back that feeling and in your mind's eye thank that person thank you I receive your kindness thank you for your love for your warmth for your support and as you connect to that feeling I'm inviting you to place that hand on your chest or on your upper arm and just give that love and kindness to yourself and in your mind's eye you can repeat these words I love and approve of myself I'm supported I'm loved I'm not alone all things work out for me all is well within my world this moment is perfect as it is I know that I'm never alone I'm content I love and approve of me I like the person I am I like the person I'm becoming I am blessed I'm loved and as you say these things really connect to the feeling of warmth of kindness of compassion towards yourself only when you're able to receive the kindness you're able to give it to others to show it through the body language through the words through your facial features gestures so it's very very important you're able to connect with that feeling and to know that you're not alone if you wish you can bring another image or memory of another person who has given you kindness and love and again connect to that feeling of warmth and kindness that person has given you and know that you're not alone that you're loved so love and approve of yourself and show that compassion towards yourself just take a few minutes now just to go within and to connect whatever is rising within you just being with this moment gently start bringing awareness to this moment to the here and now connecting to your senses to the environment around you to the sounds around you to how you feel and take a deep breath in as you inhale setting a good intention for yourself and your day and you as you exhale just releasing that intention to the universe and again breathing gather all that energy that positive energy towards your heart and exhale it release it release your intention to the universe to take care of it and one more breath breathing in and breathing out and very gently I will count down from three to one and you can open your eyes three two one thank you for practicing with me namaste have a beautiful day
