Seventh Chakra Meditation I am Light Find a comfortable position sitting upright and close your eyes Bring your focus to the tip of your nose and notice the cool air flowing in on the inhale and notice the warm air flowing out of your nose on the exhale Breathing should be effortless and free not forced This meditation will help open and balance your seventh or crown chakra allowing us to stay connected to our higher selves and to the creator When we feel spiritually disconnected or unable to hear or trust in a higher power it's often a sign of an imbalanced crown chakra On your next inhale follow the breath as you pull the energy of the breath up to the top of your head Imagine a beautiful white light shining down from above and coming through the crown of your head The light is warm and soft and also strong and invigorating You feel connected to something outside of yourself You feel safe Using your breath as a guide as you inhale saying I am and as you exhale saying light I am light Use this mantra for the remainder of the meditation with gentle regular breathing I am light On your next inhale visualize that your body is gently rising with each breath as if being pulled up Each inhale takes you higher and higher As you exhale just relax and notice the way it feels this new perspective Notice the peace and tranquility as you rise higher allowing a little space between the problems of the world and your heart and mind Inhale it feels like you are floating weightless and free gently up, Steady and safe With no fear allow this time to travel up as high as you feel comfortable Imagine the breath taking you amongst the clouds and feeling the clouds You have no fear peace and connection with spirit You feel one with the universe Inhale, Rise higher You are light and weightless without pain without worry As you look out over the vastness around you your perspective broadens Keep breathing I am light Allow the light to lift you Eventually you may rise so high you can see the whole continent and its waters the earth and be up amongst the stars weightless and free trusting a source much greater than yourself feeling happy having new understandings breathe and repeat the mantra I am light Allow your mind to open as you look down to the size of your worries and your fears and surround those with the love and light of the cosmos You are at peace When you are ready to exit the meditation use your exhale to gently float down breath by breath floating down back amongst the clouds as you exhale the vision of land comes into view Go slowly and allow yourself the freedom and time and space to travel back with ease exhaling, Returning closer Eventually you will land back in your body using your senses to bring your awareness back to the room and to the present right here, Right now enough time to recalibrate into the present moment and when you feel ready gently and slowly open your eyes
