Enjoy a slow or brisk stroll with your little ones, whether they are in a baby carrier, pram, bike seat, walking, or another mode of transport. Over these 10 minutes, you will tune into your own energy levels and current mood, as well as those of your little ones. Hopefully noticing a positive shift between you and your little ones. You'll tap into your senses of 'seeing, feeling, and hearing,' giving you a greater sense of being present. This track is great to listen to on one-way paths, giving you a chance to reflect on the walk back and notice things you might have missed before.

Hello Mama,

Welcome to your guided walking meditation.

Today is a 10 minute meditation so I will let you know when we are halfway.

If you need to turn around you can do so.

So let's get started on your walk if you haven't already.

Take note of which direction you've chosen to go today.

What path?

Is it a loop track?

You'll get quite a lot of benefit if you are doing a one-way walking track because when we get halfway I'm going to get you to notice certain things on the way back.

Let's come back to this present moment.

Notice the pace of your walk.

The stride in your arms.

Are they free or are they busy holding your little one,

Pushing a pram or whatever it might be?

What pace do you want to walk at?

Do you want to feel a little bit puffed?

Do you just want to take it nice and easy?

Find a good rhythm and stick with that.

Take a minute to notice how you're feeling emotionally and mentally.

What word comes to mind?

How are your energy levels?

Try and be specific with your answers to these questions.

Notice also the energy and the mood of your baby,

Toddler or children right now at the start of this walk.

Come back to your body now.

How is your body physically feeling?

Maybe it's feeling tired.

Maybe it's feeling a little bit tired.

Maybe it's feeling tired,

Starting to warm up.

We're going to tune into our senses now.

I want you to notice what you see in front of you on this walk.

Could be trees,

Houses,

Cars.

What do you see in front of you on your path that you're on?

Take note of the path that you're on now.

What surface are you walking on?

Is there a slope,

Uphill or downhill?

Is it windy?

Is there a slope,

Uphill or downhill?

Is it windy?

Is the road slippery or stable like gravel or bitumen?

Notice the shoes you're wearing and how they feel on your feet.

The clothes you're wearing,

Are they tight,

Baggy,

Somewhere in between?

What colours did you decide to wear today?

What colours are your baby or children wearing?

Are you matching?

Do you have the same vibe when you dress them or if they dress themselves?

We are halfway through our meditation now,

So if you need to turn around,

Please do.

As we journey back through the last half of our walk,

Take note of what you missed on the way there.

You might notice a new tree that you might not have seen before.

Perhaps a rock,

A bird's nest,

Something in the distance.

Is the sun out today or is it hiding behind the clouds?

Or maybe it's the evening and it's not yet risen or just gone down.

Are there any clouds that you can see?

Is there any breeze in the air?

Warm?

Cold?

I'm going to give you some time to ponder on the presence and those senses that we've touched base on.

And I want you to really watch your baby or children if you can,

If they're with you and you can see them.

You might see a shift in their energy and their mood.

Coming into our last minute now,

Connect back with your energy and mood.

How is your baby or children?

We're going to take one nice big deep breath for me in through the nose and out through the mouth.

Well done,

Mama.

You've got this.

Namaste.
