Everyone has felt fear.
Everyone has felt love.
Obviously.
But,
Throughout our lives,
Have you ever considered this?
Throughout our lives,
We experience the entire gamut.
Have you ever considered that?
We experience despair and jealousy and anger and guilt and grief and optimism and hope and belief and passion and bliss and joy and everything in between.
So,
I say frequently that we cannot understand and appreciate joy and love without understanding and feeling fear.
It's that rollercoaster ride where our stomachs,
You know when you're going down,
You just start going down and your stomach does that.
That's the two sides of it.
But where it gets important is,
And this is what I want to talk about today,
In order to manifest our best lives,
Our truest wishes,
Our deepest secret desires,
We must stay in the higher emotions.
We must acknowledge what we really,
Really,
Really want for ourselves and our lives and have the courage to go for it.
And we have to do this over and over and over.
Sounds fun,
Doesn't it?
So you know that little voice in your head that tells you,
You can't do something or you don't look so great today or you aren't as good as that person.
We've all done that.
This is the voice that is sadly in all of us,
Everybody.
Here's the cool thing.
Everyone does have that voice that says those horrible things to ourselves.
And you want to know the secret?
I love this.
When I think about this,
This is what sort of switches the light switch on for me.
All those seemingly successful people that you've heard of,
Bill Gates,
Elon Musk,
Dare I say it,
Oprah,
They all have that voice too.
Doesn't that mean something to me?
When I think of that,
It flips something inside me.
But here's the difference between them and us or me anyway,
I guess I should put it in me,
Is that they hear it,
They acknowledge it,
And they throw it away.
So how do we do this?
How do we throw that away?
How do we get from fear to love?
How do we get control of that voice that is set on instilling fear and lack of confidence and anger and jealousy?
How do we do that?
So first of all,
Meditation,
Of course,
That helps.
Meditation helps us get still so that we can actually,
Because sometimes we don't even hear those icky thoughts.
They're just there.
So maybe acknowledge those horrible thoughts in meditation,
Maybe acknowledging them in meditation.
It allows us to grasp them and throw it out.
And then also there's this.
I love this.
I want you to imagine a glass of murky water,
Tall,
Brown,
And icky looking.
It's disgusting.
It's muddy.
Now imagine if we had a never ending pitcher of water,
Right?
So you have your glass and you start pouring all of that clean water into the murky glass.
That clean water begins to purify the muddiness and eventually the murky water is gone and you're left with pure clean water.
It's clear.
This is what we need to do with our thoughts.
That pure water is like affirmations.
When we pour tons and tons and tons of affirmations into our thoughts and our minds,
That muddy water goes away.
Isn't that cool?
I love that thought.
When you see a visual of that and you know,
Because you can see the water coming out,
That's what as we pour the clean affirmations into our mind,
All the negativity starts to go away.
It has the ability to do that.
So today's meditation is going to be one of kind of building blocks.
Now before we start,
I want you all to begin to think of an intention that you want for yourself and your life.
Something that's significant to you.
Something where you need to buck those negative,
I can't really do that,
Where I'm not good enough thoughts.
All right,
So let's get ourselves sitting.
Sitting quietly.
Let's sit quietly.
So we,
As we sit quietly,
Gently allow your eyes to float closed.
Let's take a deep breath in very slow,
Bringing that beautiful mother earth energy into our being,
That positivity.
And I want you to consider something you want for yourself.
An incredible new job.
A significant other.
Or maybe it's just to create happiness in your life where you feel stuck.
So now let's take another very long,
Slow,
Deep breath in,
Breathing in purity and breathing in clarity.
If you invite it in,
It will be there for you.
And release it.
So now repeat after me.
I am powerful.
I am strong.
Today is going to be a great day.
I am confident.
I deserve my heart's desire.
I am grateful for the wonderful things in my life.
I am inspiring to the people around me.
I am successful.
I can do it and I will do it.
I am worthy of love and joy in my life.
I am in control of my thoughts.
All is well.
I am pure potentiality.
I love myself deeply.
I can do anything I set my mind to.
I attract abundance into my life.
I choose to see the good in every situation.
I accept myself for the amazing person that I am.
I am allowed to feel good.
I invite peace into my life.
I am evolving and accept myself just where I am.
I give myself permission to love myself.
I have the power to create literally whatever I choose in my life.
I am joy.
I am love.
I am peace.
I am gratitude.
So now let's take a nice deep breath in.
Breathing in it all.
And release.
