Hi and welcome to In The Flow with Lorie Albert,

A podcast designed to teach us to manifest our best lives in every moment and every day.

Let's get in the flow.

Yes,

Times have been a little challenging.

Lately,

Would you say?

The energy has been up and down and all over the place.

Gosh.

Right,

So who here today would like to feel a little bit happier?

Right?

Who here wants to feel a little bit more happy?

What about feeling a little bit more joy?

Right?

Who would like a little bit more of that?

Now,

Most people are gonna say,

I want some more happiness.

Of course,

There's always more room for more happiness in our lives,

Right?

But when it comes down to like every day life,

Do you allow yourself to do the things that could just make you just a little bit more happy?

Bring you a little bit more joy?

Sometimes we deprive ourselves of that,

Right?

Now,

When I talk about high vibration,

I get asked all the time,

What the heck about high vibration?

Like what is the big deal?

What's the difference between being happy and feeling high vibration?

Well,

Here's the thing.

High vibration is how,

Actually our own personal vibration is how I should start it off,

Is how we spin,

How our energy is to the world,

How our energy is to us,

Right?

So it's,

You know,

Because we're all made up of energy,

Right?

So I can't even find anything.

So this little,

A little trinket has energy,

Right?

A little candle has energy.

All of it has energy.

And the faster we spin,

The faster the energy is moving.

That's the higher vibration.

And what we would want to do is stay in that high vibrational place,

Right?

So that we can feel the love,

Feel the joy,

Joy.

Who here experiences joy on a daily basis?

Some people do,

Some people don't.

You know,

We deserve more of that,

Right?

We deserve that.

So how do we keep ourself in that place of joy or in that place of just pure happiness?

I mean,

When was the last time you were purely happy?

I mean,

Like in your heart,

You could just feel the love,

Feel the joy,

Feel the happy,

Right?

Pretty crazy when you think about it.

We get so caught up in our lives,

Right?

So today what I want to talk about is,

I have,

You're going to,

Some of these,

Okay,

So I've got 20 things that can raise your vibration so that you can experience more joy.

Okay?

Here's the thing.

Some of you are going to be like,

Some of these things you're going to be like,

Really?

Don't ever knock these things until you try them.

Okay?

Alright,

So 20 things that we can do to keep our vibration high and experience the gratitude,

Experience the joy,

Right?

First of all,

A practice of gratitude.

That's number one.

A practice of gratitude.

Finding throughout the day,

Even if you just do,

And you know what,

I had this like inspiration the other day.

Instead of like just doing five in the morning and like,

And then forgetting about it the rest of the day,

I'm like doing like,

And you know what,

And I've told you guys this before,

I'm like the queen of putting reminders on my phone.

So once in the morning,

Think of something you're grateful for.

Quick,

One,

Two,

Three,

Quick,

Something you're grateful for,

Right?

And then 11 a.

M.

,

What are you grateful for?

One o'clock,

What are you grateful for?

You know,

I mean,

Think of these things throughout the day,

And that keeps your gratitude in that place,

Right?

In that forefront in your mind,

Right?

Okay.

So now,

Number two,

Smile for no reason.

Oh goodness.

It might feel fake at first.

I don't,

I don't really,

I mean,

I have in the past probably smiled for no reason and then it felt fake,

But generally I'm kind of a happy person anyway,

So I'm kind of smiling a lot anyway.

But if you're feeling down,

If you're feeling low,

If you're feeling just beaten up emotionally or whatever,

Smile,

Smile,

Smile,

Right?

Okay.

Number three,

Look at yourself in the mirror and say,

I love you.

That is one of the hardest,

One of the most rewarding,

One of the most powerful things you can do for yourself.

Look at yourself in the mirror and say,

I love you.

Whoa.

You might cry when you do it.

I've had that experience.

You might laugh.

It might feel completely fake.

You might feel like,

Oh,

This is ridiculous.

But when you really do it,

When you're alone with yourself,

Nobody else is around and you're in the bathroom,

Look in the mirror.

I love you.

That's what you do.

I've never experienced such a big,

Huge shift in my way of being than I did,

Well,

Several times,

You know,

When you say I love you.

So anyway.

Okay.

So number four,

Meditate.

Hello.

You know,

And when I say meditate,

Yeah,

I mean sit in meditation and stuff,

But you don't have to do it forever.

You don't have to sit in meditation for like an hour and you know,

It could be for five minutes.

You could start with that.

Start with a really short period of time.

It's all good.

You know,

Just sitting with yourself.

Right.

Okay.

Next one.

How to raise your vibration.

Number five,

Dance to your favorite song.

Whatever that is.

It could be a classical piece.

It could be a pop piece.

It could be rock.

It could be heavy metal.

Whatever it is,

You could do a mosh pit in your living room.

Whatever it is.

Right.

Dance to your favorite song.

Put it on.

Yeah.

Okay.

The next one,

Number six,

Is pay it forward.

You could go to Starbucks and pay for the person behind you's drink.

You could open it.

I mean,

It doesn't even have to,

You don't have to actually pay for something either.

Right.

You could open a door for somebody,

An act of kindness.

Right.

Anything like that.

Let somebody get in front of you on the freeway.

Let them in instead of going,

Well,

Look at him trying to butt his way in in front of me.

No,

No,

No.

Just back up.

Take your foot off the gas a little bit and just let them in.

That's kindness.

Right.

That's paying it forward.

Right.

Okay.

Next one,

Number seven.

I love this one.

Reach out to someone that you haven't talked to for a while.

Reach out to someone that you haven't spoken to.

I don't know,

For me,

I'm 56 years old.

There's a lot of people I haven't talked to in a while.

You know,

Reach out to someone that will raise your vibration because they will be so thrilled to hear from you.

Love that.

Right.

Okay.

Number eight.

Take a walk.

You know,

David G.

Talks so much about the shifting.

You know,

A mind shift.

Get out of your present.

If you feel like that things are low and you're just sitting there and you can't function,

You know,

Get out and just take a quick walk.

It doesn't even need to be,

Again,

It doesn't need to be that long.

Just go and like get yourself out of that frame of mind.

Get up and walk around and come back.

Okay.

Here's one of my next.

The next one is one of my favorite ones.

This is number nine.

Hug a tree.

Okay.

We've talked about this before.

I know.

Right.

But here's the thing.

Do not knock it until you've tried it.

Have you ever hugged a tree?

And I know some of you are going to say,

Oh my God,

I do that all the time.

Yeah.

It's awesome.

Because those of you that have not tried it,

You're not doing it because you're not doing it because you're worried somebody's going to see you.

So what?

Right.

Because the energy that comes off the tree.

Trees are the test of time.

There are trees that are hundreds and hundreds of years old.

Imagine that.

Right.

Hug it.

Try it.

I swear.

If you're listening to this,

You're into this stuff anyway.

Right.

So get over yourself and go hug your tree.

Okay.

So number 10,

Take a shower.

I know.

Or a bath.

Whatever.

You know,

Some self care.

Self care is awesome.

Right.

That will raise your vibration.

And what's great about water?

Water is a conductor of the energy.

Right.

So you're getting rid in a sense.

You're getting rid of all of the ickiness and then you're inviting in the beauty,

The joy.

Right.

So that's a good one.

All right.

Number 11.

Take.

I'm sorry.

Go to the beach.

Number 11.

Go to the beach.

If you don't have a beach near you,

Which,

You know,

A lot of people don't,

Find a lake.

Find a body of water.

I guess is the bottom line here.

Find a body of water and go sit and look at it.

Whether it's moving water,

Whether it's a river or a stream.

Right.

Even a little brook in your backyard or whatever.

You know,

Just go sit and like listen to the water.

Watch the water.

I'm telling you,

That changes so much for me.

Water is such an amazing thing.

Right.

So anyway.

Okay.

Next one.

Number 12.

Pet your pet.

I know that might sound kind of weird too.

Pet your pet.

Get your animal and just,

You know,

When you feel like your vibration is low,

Grab your cat or your hamster or your dog.

Pet your animal.

You know,

There's something about animals that are just,

They just are love.

That's the closest thing to godliness I think.

You know what I mean?

It's like they're just joy.

Right.

So,

Okay.

Next one.

Number 13.

Work out.

Some of you are like,

Oh god,

Seriously,

Work out.

You know what?

If you work out for just,

You know,

You just take a walk.

And I know I already said that.

But take a walk.

Work out.

Do a dance thing in your thing.

Just work out.

That increases your endorphins.

Right.

It brings out the endorphins which raises your mood,

Which raises your vibration.

So there you go.

Right.

Okay.

Next one.

Number 14.

Clean out your closet.

I love it.

Right.

Clean out your closet.

Getting rid of stuff.

There's nothing like you feel when you look at your cleaned out closet after you've spent,

You know,

Even half an hour getting rid of stuff.

It's awesome.

Right.

And that actually then leads into,

I know some people hate that,

But you know,

And that sort of leads into number 15,

Which is release what no longer serves you.

Right.

So that's part of,

You know,

The closet.

So we clean out our literal closet,

But you can also clean out the closet in your head.

Release it.

You know,

You don't have to wait for a full moon or a new moon to do that.

Right.

Release it.

Think about the things,

Your ways of being that are just,

That do not serve you.

That are not good for you.

You know,

Those ways of thinking,

Those trains of thoughts that do not serve you.

Write it down and release it.

Right.

Oh,

I love that.

That is a huge way to start to raise your vibration.

Oh my gosh.

Right.

So number 16.

I love this one.

Create your own personal bucket list.

And here's the thing.

It can be anything on there.

You don't have to write.

I mean,

You could write,

I don't even know.

You could write,

Go to every state.

Right.

You could go to every state.

That could be your own personal bucket list item.

I've been to 49 states by the way.

I just have to go to Alaska and I've been to them all.

Isn't that awesome?

But you know,

It could be,

It could be,

I don't even,

You know,

It could be going to the beach and hunting for shells.

I mean,

Seriously,

It doesn't matter what it is.

Just create it.

What is it that you really in your heart want to do in your life?

What are you interested in?

You know,

There's a secret little place in my brain that would love,

Because my daughter is an artist,

Right?

She gets,

And I've talked about this before,

She gets these huge canvases and she starts painting.

I want to try that someday.

That would be honestly a bucket list.

It's like far down on my bucket list because it's like,

I don't have to do it,

But I think it might bring me joy and it might bring me satisfaction to do that.

Right.

Okay.

Next one.

Next one.

Number 17,

Forgive someone that you are holding a grudge against.

Who are you holding a grudge against for,

Could be for 20 years that you've been,

You know,

You don't have to say to the person,

I forgive you.

Do it in your heart,

In your heart.

Forgive someone that you are holding a grudge against.

Right.

Okay.

So the next one,

Number 18,

Cook or eat your favorite meal.

Seriously.

If that doesn't raise your vibration,

I don't know what will.

I don't even have favorite food anymore.

I just like,

You know,

It's just when I was a kid,

It was always spaghetti,

Spaghetti with meat sauce.

My mouth's gonna start watering.

It was always spaghetti with meat sauce.

Right.

But now it's like it's turned into other things too.

So eat your favorite meal.

Number 19,

Greet everyone you meet with love,

Love,

Love,

Love.

I talk a lot about,

I talk a lot about throwing love bombs at people.

I know that sounds weird.

Right.

But you know,

I'll just like,

I'll just like in my,

In my being,

If someone,

Because I'm an empath,

Right.

If I'm being kind of funky or I'm being like,

You know,

I,

I get a feeling that somebody like in front of me is like,

Not doing too good or something.

I'll in my head,

In my head,

I'll throw a ball of love at them.

You know,

Throwing a ball of love at somebody.

You can do that for everybody.

If you feel like somebody's,

If you feel like somebody's having a bad day,

You know,

Just like think of yourself,

Imagine it in your head only throwing that person a ball of love.

So,

Right.

And then number 20,

The last one,

Allow,

This is so awesome.

Allow yourself to sleep as late as you feel like,

Oh,

I wish I could have done that this morning.

Right.

So allow yourself to sleep,

Allow it,

Allow yourself,

Give yourself permission to do these things.

Right.

So obviously we're not going to meditate today,

But I want to leave you with this affirmation.

Okay.

So the affirmation for today that you can say,

Take with you,

Say it to yourself over and over again.

Today I surrender to love in everything I say,

Do and feel.

Today I surrender to love in everything I say,

Do and feel.

Surrender to love.

That will clearly get your vibration up.

Right.

It's beautiful.

It's absolutely beautiful.

So I wish you all so much love.

Enjoy your day and surrender to love in everything you do,

Say and feel.
