Welcome to this brief meditation to help you connect your chakras.

You can do this standing up or sitting down.

I think it's a little easier standing up,

But you're welcome to sit while you do it as well.

Okay,

Let's begin first by getting a little centered and a little grounded.

So feet on the ground,

Big breath in and out.

Bring your attention to your breath as you breathe in and out for your next couple breaths.

Notice your feet flat on the ground,

Whether you're sitting or standing,

You want those feet on the ground,

Grounding into the earth.

All right,

Let's bring our attention right up to the crown of the head.

Soften your scalp,

Relax your forehead,

Soften your face and your jaw.

Make sure your jaw is relaxed and loose.

Now come down and notice how your neck feels.

Relax your throat,

Big breath in and out.

And as you do drop your shoulders,

Give them a good press down and relax your shoulders and your arms.

Relax your chest and your heart.

Relax your lower back and your middle back.

See if you can bring a big breath into your belly and loosen and relax your belly.

Relax your hips and let your thighs soften and relax.

Notice how your knees feel and soften your calves and bring your attention down into your ankles and your feet and let them soften and relax.

And again,

Feel the bottom of your feet connecting to wherever you're standing or sitting.

Okay,

Let's begin by putting one hand right at the base of the lowest part of your spine in the front of your body and then your other hand just below your navel.

So we've got first chakra and second chakra.

So two big breaths in and out right here with both hands at first chakra and second chakra.

Big breath in and out and another breath in and out,

Continuing to breathe at your own pace.

And we're going to bring that hand that's at the first chakra and bring it up to the third chakra,

Which is that solar plexus.

So finding that kind of sensitive spot in the middle of the trunk of your body below your heart.

Two breaths here with one hand on second chakra,

One hand on third chakra.

And now bring that lowest hand on the second chakra up to the fourth chakra right at the center of your body at heart height.

And breathing two breaths here with hands connecting third and fourth chakra.

And now bring that lower hand on the third chakra up to fifth chakra right there at the kind of the base of the neck up into the neck area.

And two breaths with one hand on the fourth and the fifth.

Breathing in and breathing out.

And again,

And keeping that upper hand at fifth chakra and slowly drawing that other hand up to sixth chakra just at the forehead in between the eyebrows.

Breathing in two breaths here,

Hands connecting fifth and sixth chakras.

And now that lower hand on the fifth chakra is gently going to bring up to the crown of the head.

Just a couple inches above the top of the head.

Hand at sixth and seventh chakra,

Two breaths in and out,

Connecting sixth and seventh.

Wonderful.

And now just reach up above your head,

Kind of connecting energetically with your eighth chakra,

Which is like a globe about eight inches above the top of your head.

And just kind of feeling around as if you were touching the outside of a globe the size of maybe the basketball up there.

Just sensing into,

Can you feel that eighth chakra or can you imagine it?

And now put your hands right into it and imagine yourself going and pulling the sides of it right down around you.

Our hands are just floating down and coming down and touching your thighs,

Opening your eighth chakra and inviting your eighth chakra to inform you for a minute.

Eighth chakras related to our soul connection,

What does your soul want right now or need right now?

You might just ask that question.

Breathing in and out,

Feeling that alignment up and down the middle of your body as you connected your chakras.

And you're welcome to stay with this eighth chakra globe open and surrounding you and forming you,

Enlightening you.

And then when you're ready,

Just reach out to the sides of it and draw it back up,

Right up above your heads.

Hands are floating up to that globe.

Imagining yourself bringing that eighth chakra right back up into its rightful resting place above your head.

And then bring those hands together,

Palms coming down,

Noticing seventh chakra as you float your hands down,

Sixth chakra,

Fifth chakra,

Pausing at each one,

Fourth,

Third,

Second,

And first.

Hands are diving down and releasing.

Palms to the lap and just take a moment to notice how you feel.

Big breath in and out.

Great.

And when you're ready,

Open your eyes and feel free to come back and revisit this anytime you feel like you're a little out of alignment and bring yourself back into alignment.
