Hello,
Welcome to this practice to help you start your day with a positive feeling of gratitude and to act as a reminder that in any given moment,
No matter how we're feeling,
There is always something to be grateful for.
If you haven't already,
Go ahead and close your eyes and I invite you to place one hand on the heart and one hand on the belly.
And repeat after me,
Either out loud or in your head.
I am grateful for this new day.
I am grateful for my life.
I am grateful for my body and all that it does for me.
I am grateful for my mind and all that it does for me.
I am grateful for my soul for guiding me through life.
I am grateful for myself for taking the time to do this practice and show myself love in this way.
Take a moment to extend gratitude to anything else you're feeling gratitude for in this moment.
Go ahead and take a deep breath in,
Allowing those feelings of gratitude to expand and fill the entire body.
And slowly exhale.
Again,
Deep breath in,
Letting that gratitude expand out from the body.
And slowly exhale.
Last one,
Deep breath in,
Inhaling gratitude.
And exhale,
Sending that gratitude out.
Taking a moment now to just sit in this feeling of gratitude.
Beautiful.
Taking this feeling of gratitude with you,
Start to gently come back to the present moment.
Maybe wiggling the fingers and toes,
Inviting movement slowly back into the body.
And taking as much time as you'd like,
Whenever you feel ready,
And slowly and gently open your eyes.
