Welcome to this guided meditation for freedom from shame.
In this meditation we'll embark on a journey of self-compassion and healing as we release ourselves from the grip of shame and invite in a sense of liberation and self-acceptance.
The goal is for you to recover your sense of self and reclaim your personal identity separate from what has caused shame.
If you haven't yet please find a comfortable position either sitting or lying down and close your eyes.
Take a moment to acknowledge the courage it takes to face and release shame.
Allow yourself to enter into a space of self-love,
Forgiveness,
Kindness and healing.
Let's begin by bringing your awareness to your breath.
Feel the rhythm of your breath as it flows with each inhale and exhale gently guiding you in a state of relaxation and presence.
Notice the rise and fall of your abdomen with each breath breathing through any thoughts or distractions that may arise.
Now staying with this relaxed breathing take a deep breath in and as you exhale feel yourself releasing any tension or worries from your body.
Allow yourself to fully surrender to this present moment.
As we take this journey it's essential to approach ourselves with gentleness and kindness.
Inhale deeply and as you exhale imagine releasing any self-criticism or judgment.
In their place allow compassion to fill your being gently embracing yourself with love and acceptance.
Bring your attention to any lingering feelings of shame that may reside within you.
Visualize shame as a heavy burden that you've carried for far too long.
As you acknowledge its presence hold space for it without judgment or resistance.
Remember you are not defined by your past experiences,
Actions or mistakes.
Allow yourself to feel the weight of shame and understand that it no longer serves you.
Now take a deep breath in and as you exhale picture yourself standing in a vast open field.
Feel the warmth of the Sun on your skin.
Notice the gentle breeze dancing around you and through the grass.
This field,
This open field represents your journey towards freedom from shame.
Freedom into liberation.
Freedom into expansion.
Visualize pulling the heavy blanket of shame off your shoulders and gently placing it on the ground.
As you do so feel a sense of relief and lightness washing over you.
Relief and lightness washing over you now.
Noticing how liberating it feels to release shame's hold and weight on you.
Noticing how light freedom feels.
Noticing how freedom feels in your body and in your breath.
Now bring your attention to any part of you or aspect of your life that has been deeply affected by shame.
Maybe it's been stifled or blocked.
Maybe it's been paralyzed in some way from growth and progress.
Offer yourself grace here.
Offer yourself grace for any perceived shortcomings,
Mistakes,
Wrongdoing or any embarrassing,
Awkward or discouraging experiences.
Any of these things that you've carried with you.
Allow grace to wash over you now.
Allowing grace to dissolve the shame.
Grace is a powerful energetic to journey in and it's yours.
Grace is yours.
Understand that you are human and expansion comes from learning and evolving and from releasing and rising.
Grace helps us find freedom.
Grace helps us rise.
Helps us rise again.
Repeat the following affirmations silently or loud or simply listen along.
I am worthy of love.
I am worthy of compassion.
I am worthy of grace.
I am worthy of forgiveness.
I am worthy of reassurance.
I am worthy of reassurance.
I am worthy of progress.
I release all judgments I carry from other people.
I release all judgments and shame I hold towards myself.
Whenever I feel shame,
I will break through the pattern and choose self-compassion,
Kindness and grace.
Whenever I feel shame,
I will break through the pattern and choose self-compassion,
Kindness and grace.
Shame is dissolving.
Peace and self-acceptance are rising.
I now get to experience who I am beyond shame.
I am free.
I am me.
I am free.
I am me.
I have arrived.
I am home.
I have arrived.

Shift your focus to the present moment and the person you are becoming.
Inhale deeply here embracing every aspect of your being.
Exhaling understanding that you are a unique and valuable soul.
You are full of higher purpose and beautiful light to share.
As we come to the end of this meditation,
Take a moment here to express gratitude for yourself and the courage that it took to release shame and step into acceptance,
Grace and freedom.
Know that this journey towards self-compassion and liberation is ongoing.
Vow to yourself that you'll continue to nurture and support your growth and freedom.
Return to this meditation for added support.
Take a final deep breath in here and as you exhale gently open your eyes.
Carry this sense of freedom and grace and self-compassion with you,
Remembering that you are deserving of love and freedom.
