Allow this guided mediation to help you get in touch with the qualities of the air you breathe, and the sensations in your body as you are breathing. Notice the fluidity, the viscosity, the pressure of air in your throat and lungs, as you ground your awareness in the present moment.

All right,

So making yourself comfortable.

Taking a few deep breaths.

Noticing how it feels to draw air into your body.

And how it feels to release air out of your body.

Can you feel the the viscosity of the air?

Can you feel the presence of air moving in your throat down into your lungs?

The way it pushes against your internal systems.

The inside of your throat,

Maybe even the inside of your lungs.

Maybe even feeling the air as if it has a bit of a fluid nature to it,

Which it does.

How is it to feel the fluidity of air flowing in your system?

Bringing your awareness to how it feels to have air pushing against your body.

Pushing against the passages in your body.

Maybe even feeling the coolness of the in-breath.

And the relative warmth of the out-breath.

Cool air from outside.

Warm air from inside your being.

Getting in touch with the physical qualities of the air you're breathing in and breathing out.

It's life-giving resource that we're using in every second of every day.

It's life-giving resource that we're using in every single day.

Maybe even feeling a little gratitude for the air that is moving into and out of your body.

Allowing your awareness to be a little bit poignant as you reflect on the life-giving activity of your breathing.

And as we're starting to move towards the completion of this little meditation,

Releasing your awareness of your breathing and expanding your awareness to your body as a whole.

Starting to become aware of the physicality of your body.

Starting to move your fingers,

Your toes,

Your wrists,

Your ankles,

Your shoulders.

When you're ready,

Gently opening your eyes,

Taking a look around the space that you're in.

Be having a stretch,

A sip of your drink.

Be willing to still,

Continue to dependent,

Be aware of any mental weakness or any injury that might arise to a person or a person that is both

This short meditation was quite enjoyable. I appreciate the insertion of several silent pauses, giving me an opportunity to work with the information given previously.
