Bringing our awareness to the opening and closing, the expansion and contraction, the rising and falling that is the dance of the breath. Feeling this dance in synchronicity with the space around us that moves and flows as our body rises and falls. Acknowledging the benevolence of our body and of the space around us – all trying hard to afford us happiness and health.
Closing your eyes either fully or partially becoming aware of your breathing gathering your awareness in just noticing the breath you and as your breathing as your breathing is following the rhythm of expansion and contraction outwardness and inwardness opening and closing seeing your body in your mind's eye as it moves in this rather graceful dance in response to the rhythm of your breathing your body moves outward and upward once you breathe in then inward and downward once you breathe out seeing this as a dance is a flow of movement very organic gentle fluid like flow of movement you you do you fit feels right to you you might even notice in your mind's eye or see in your mind's eye how the air around you is affected how it moves in response to this dance of your breathing maybe even seeing some ripples out out through the air through the ether once your body moves gently sways gently on the breath most as if the air around us the space around us is part of our breathing it too is moving through this cycle of the breathing you you how is it to see all of these components of your internal landscape your body the space around you all of these moving in concert with each other the air moving from outside of you becoming the breath integrating into your body your body moving as it accommodates the breath the air around you moving to respond to your breathing body this choreography of movement all in service of breathing of your breathing you the breaths only intention it's only motivation is to support you it works entirely in service of your health and happiness now is it to acknowledge this intention of the breath all it wants to do is to give you life give you health in the same way your body's entire existence revolves around trying to take care of you now is it to consider this very hard-working companion constantly moving to allow the breath to accommodate the breath constantly at your service doing the very best it can you you and how is it to consider the air around you also in service of your health and happiness having just the right proportion of oxygen and carbon dioxide so that your body knows how to breathe your body knows how to integrate what it needs into our system and then release back out what it doesn't need the air around us existing in such a way that our health and happiness is important it matters you so many systems existing to support us and we often don't think about them we're not aware of them not thinking that the air is just right for us not aware that our body is doing 95% of a great job most of the time now is it to consider the benevolence in our environment and in our body always and if you're not able to feel the benevolence of your body or the air around you it's okay the never lens does not rely on your being able to feel it it's always there always holding you in space as best it can if you're having trouble feeling that right now see me if you can bring some kindness to yourself some self-compassion maybe putting a hand on your heart or some other place on your body is there a way that you can believe there is an intention of goodwill towards you from yourself from your body from your environment you you you and as we're starting to move towards the completion of this meditation can you allow your body to have exactly the experience that it's having without any requirement or any wish that it be having any other experience can you stay with your body whatever is going on for it right now even if it's just for a moment starting to move your awareness to your whole body down to the lengths of your legs the lengths of your arms up to your head maybe starting to move your limbs wrists your fingers your arms your legs gently opening your eyes when you feel ready having a stretch a sip of your drink
I love this practice of experiencing the support of your body and the air around you, thank you! ❤️🙏

Spacious, nurturing meditation. I was filled with so much and support by the end. There is a lot of space at the beginning - made me think the meditation had stopped - but it keeps going. So glad I tried this one. Thank you.

Excellent to come into awareness of the goodness and primordial sustainability of the breath for our wellbeing. This transported me to be more thankful and deeper intention to be more loving towards myself, which I have trouble to do.
Thank you for this insight.

A gentle, very inclusive way to relate kindly to the body and surrounding world, no matter what they’re like. Will come back to this often. 💖
