Welcome dear friend,
My name is Chris and today I'll be guiding you through a breathwork journey to help you release what you've been carrying inside.
We all hold on to so much more than we realize.
Often our feelings feel too big,
Too overwhelming,
Or not safe to express,
So we bury them.
But unprocessed emotion doesn't just disappear,
The body stores it.
And over time that held energy shows up as anxiety,
Strain in our connections,
Or even physical discomfort.
The breath gives us a safe way to loosen that pressure and let it move through expression.
This is your permission to let go.
Your body already knows how to release,
Your job is to simply allow.
I recommend lying somewhere supportive and comfortable,
A space where you feel grounded enough to soften and surrender.
Before we begin,
Take a moment to choose an intention.
What do you need from this practice?
Let whatever arises be your guide.
Now let's take three deep breaths,
Inhaling through the nose,
Filling all the way up,
Hold for a moment,
Exhale out the mouth with a sigh.
Again,
Deep breath in through the nose,
Hold,
Sigh it out through the mouth.
Last one,
Filling all the way up,
Hold,
Let it all go.
Ah,
Beautiful.
During breath work,
You might notice tingling or tightness in the hands or around the mouth.
This is called tetany,
And it's normal and safe.
Just stay calm,
Keep breathing,
It'll pass on its own.
Now let's begin.
We'll start with a two-part breath,
We'll take a deep inhale through the mouth down to the bottom of the belly,
Pull more air into the chest,
And then exhaling out through the mouth.
So it'll go like this.
You might feel some resistance at first,
And that's okay.
Just stay with your breath,
It will get easier.
Inhale,
Gathering what's stuck,
And your exhale sweeping it out of the body.
Ah,
You'll feel like you're setting down a heavy load.
What has been too much for you to carry?
Breathe it out.
Under,
Gently guide yourself back into sensation,
Back into breath without any judgment.
Remember,
There's no need to force the breath hold.
Take a quick catch breath at any time if you need to,
And come back in when you're ready.
Take a deep breath in through the mouth,
Feeling all.
Allow your body to soften into this moment.
Feel yourself unfolding.
We'll let it all out in three,
Two,
One,
Let it all go.
For this round,
We'll take deep breaths in through the mouth down to the bottom of the belly,
And then out through the mouth,
Just like this.
In,
Asking for space.
It's safe to feel them.
It takes so much more energy to stay numb than it does to just let emotion move.
Bend too hard on yourself.
Release the belief that you're behind or failing,
And inhale trust.
You are right on time.
Only you can free yourself.
Let the breath begin loosening those old restraints.
Phew,
That's fine.
Take a quick breath in and return to the stillness.
We'll take a deep breath in through the mouth,
Feeling all the way up,
And then hold.
What does full surrender feel like in your body?
Relax into the stillness.
We'll take a recovery breath in three,
Two,
Now with deep breaths in through the nose for eight counts,
Then let each inhale,
Wrap them in warmth,
And on the exhale,
You'll take a deep breath in,
And then let all your air go,
Blowing out every last drop until you're completely empty,
And then hold on empty.
Sink into the quiet underneath everything and rest in that space.
We'll take a recovery breath in three,
Two,
One,
Big inhale,
Feeling all the way up,
Hold at the top.
Let it all go.
Let your breath return to its natural rhythm now.
No more effort,
No more shaping the inhale or exhale,
Just allowing.
Feel your body fully soften,
Letting the last bits of tension melt away,
And notice the stillness inside you,
The space that's opened,
The relief that follows release.
You've done powerful work.
For these next moments,
Simply let yourself be held by rest.
There's nothing to achieve,
Just receive.
Thank you for being here with me.
This is what healing looks like.
Showing up,
Feeling instead of hiding,
And choosing to stay present with yourself.
Whatever you faced or released today was an act of bravery,
An act of compassion towards your own heart.
What moved through you today is part of the path home to yourself.
Remember,
Your breath is your anchor,
It's your guide back to calm,
Back to truth,
Back to the part of you that is whole.
You can return to it whenever you need grounding,
Clarity,
Or comfort.
Until we meet again,
Go gently.
You're doing deep and meaningful work.
Thank you for practicing with me.
I'm sending you so much love.
