Hello,
And thank you for joining me on this meditation today.
This is a guided meditation for relaxation and inner peace.
Let's find a comfortable position,
Whether that's sitting or laying down,
And gently close your eyes and let's begin.
And let's start by taking a deep breath in through your nose,
Allowing your abdomen to rise as you fill your lungs with air.
And now slowly exhale through your mouth,
Letting go of any tension or stress you might be holding on to.
And as you continue to breathe deeply and slowly,
Bring your attention to the sensations in your body.
Feel the weight of your body sinking into the surface beneath you.
Release any areas of tightness or discomfort,
And with each exhale,
Imagine those sensations melting away,
Leaving your body in a state of complete relaxation.
I want you to imagine yourself sitting on the bank of a river.
You feel this peace and serenity overtake your body.
See yourself surrounded by the beauty of the lush grass,
Tranquil water all around you.
Feel how gentle and soft the breeze is on your skin.
Feel how warm the sun is on your face.
Allow yourself to get lost in the sounds of nature,
Whether it's the rustling leaves,
The gentle sounds of the waves in the water,
The birds chirping in the distance.
Take a deep breath in,
And as you exhale,
Imagine releasing any worries,
Any doubts or stresses that you've been carrying with you.
Let go of any thoughts that arise.
Imagine them as leaves floating downstream,
Disappearing around the bend in the river.
This is your time to simply be,
To let go of the past,
Let go of the future,
And be fully present in this moment.
This is the only moment that we have right now.
Take another deep breath in,
And as you exhale,
Take a moment to offer yourself some kindness and compassion.
Inhale love and acceptance.
Exhale any self-criticism or judgment.
And let's do that again.
Inhale love and acceptance.
Exhale self-criticism and judgment.
You are deserving of this time for relaxation and recharging.
One more time,
Let's inhale love and acceptance.
Exhale self-criticism and any judgment.
Let's do that a few more moments.
And when you're ready,
Slowly open your eyes.
As we begin to conclude this meditation,
Gently wiggle your fingers and toes.
Reawaken your body.
Take a final deep breath in,
Inhaling love,
And exhaling gratitude,
Carrying this sense of calm and tranquility with you as you go about your day,
Remembering that you can always return to this riverbank,
Return to this peaceful state whenever you want or need to.
Thank you for joining me in this guided meditation.
Enjoy the rest of your day.
