Let's begin.
Sit or lie down comfortably.
Take a deep breath in and as you exhale,
Gently close your eyes.
Breathe in and as you exhale,
Let go of your daily life.
Breath in deeply and breathe out,
Releasing all tension.
Imagine an old book appearing in your hands that holds the story of your life so far.
Open it.
You see black and white images capturing moments where you felt uncomfortable or dissatisfied with yourself.
Perhaps you see yourself feeling uneasy about your body or unhappy with what you've eaten.
Do any other images arise?
We're now letting go of all that to make space for something new.
Take another deep breath in and notice a small dot appearing in the sky.
As it gets closer,
It reveals itself as a gently floating balloon with a basket.
The balloon slowly descends towards you and with every passing moment and every exhale,
You feel a deep sense of peace spreading within you.
Allow yourself to place the book with all its uncomfortable images into the basket,
Along with feelings of shame,
Guilt,
Self-doubt and rejection.
Is there another feeling you'd like to place in the basket as well?
Add any thoughts that weigh you down or prevent you from letting go and feeling free.
Now the balloon begins to ascend.
Watch as it rises higher and higher,
Becoming smaller and smaller,
Until it disappears over the horizon,
Taking with it everything you no longer need.
A deep,
Soothing relief washes over you.
You've now created space for something new.
Consciously open yourself to the new images that will replace the old ones.
Visualise yourself enjoying a meal.
You eat slowly and mindfully,
Savouring the texture,
Taste and temperature of the food.
Feel how each bite strengthens your sense of satisfaction and picture yourself proudly pushing away a half-full plate when you feel full.
Your stomach sends clear signals of satiety and you acknowledge and respect them.
From now on,
Ask yourself,
Is what I'm feeling true hunger,
Or is it an emptiness calling for something beyond food?
If it's not genuine hunger,
Choose a short meditation instead of eating.
See yourself consciously choosing to avoid sugary drinks.
You feel the clarity and pride that come with this decision.
Instead you reach joyfully for a glass of pure,
Fresh water.
Feel how the water energises your body,
Revitalises every cell and refreshes you from within.
Water becomes your ally on this journey.
It boosts your metabolism,
Cleanses,
Hydrates and keeps you youthful,
Healthy and vibrant.
Visualise yourself becoming lighter and freer each day as your appetite and metabolism naturally regulate themselves.
You feel a growing energy that motivates you to move more,
To take the stairs instead of the elevator and to find joy in being active.
A new book appears before you with your name written on the cover.
As you open it,
You see vivid,
Colourful,
Moving images of your future.
You see yourself glowing,
Active and full of life.
You see yourself standing in front of a mirror,
Proud and happy with your ideal life.
You see yourself climbing stairs with joy and ease.
You see yourself listening to a meditation instead of eating.
You see yourself proudly declining sugary drinks and enjoying water instead.
You see yourself leaving a half empty plate,
Fully satisfied.
A pen now appears next to the book.
If you agree,
Sign your name and promise yourself to honour and care for your body,
So it can remain a cherished home for your future.
You feel strong,
Healthy and filled with love for yourself.
A loving inner smile spreads through you as you sign your name,
Making this promise to yourself.
Deep within the core of your being,
You sense a source of unconditional love.
This love for yourself allows you to care for yourself lovingly.
It empowers you to be strong,
To walk your path and to stay healthy.
Allow this love to rise to the surface now.
You are surrounded by an aura of self-respect and self-love.
You feel safe and secure,
A beloved child of the universe.
Take a deep breath in and out.
Feel the peace and gratitude of your body for the care,
Appreciation and respect you show it.
It's time to return to the here and now.
Move your hands and feet and fill your lungs with fresh energy.

Slowly open your eyes and return to your day with this sense of inner calm and love.
