This is a 10 minute pocket of peace where we'll practice being aware of our breath.
Allow the busy mind a moment of rest.
Let go of thoughts and become aware of your body.
Find a comfortable,
Erect sitting position.
Relax your shoulders and arms.
And as you close your eyes,
Feel your body settle.
Now start the practice of letting go by taking a few deep breaths in through the nose.
Hold for a while and then release all the tension in your body as you exhale.
Allow your body to become more and more relaxed with each out breath.
Now return to your normal breath and practice letting go of any thoughts that may come up and just observe the breath.
Be curious.
Where do you feel the breath?
Do you feel it in your nose?
Around your nostrils?
Or on the area above the upper lip?
Whenever you feel the breath,
Stay with it.
Let go of any thoughts that may come up and just observe the breath.
Let go of any thoughts that may come up and just observe the breath.
Let go of any thoughts that may come up and just observe the breath.
Let go of any thoughts that may come up and just observe the breath.
Let go of any thoughts that may come up and just observe the breath.
If you find that the mind has wandered,
Do not feel defeated.
This is natural.
Instead celebrate.
In that moment when you realize your mind has wandered and you direct your attention back to the breath,
You are awakening.
Your awareness expands and intensifies.
Practice patiently.
Be kind to yourself.
Whether your mind is settled or busy,
It does not matter.
What matters is that you keep calm and accept reality as it is.
Let go of thoughts and come back to breath.
Let go of any thoughts that may come up and just observe the breath.
Let go of any thoughts that may come up and just observe the breath.
