As you settle in now,
Allow yourself to drift into the beginning of a deeper journey.
A journey inward.
A journey downward.
A journey into the place within you that is ready to let go.
Take a long,
Slow breath in,
And let your exhale fall out of you,
Like a wave returning to the ocean.
And again,
A full,
Gentle breath in,
And a soft,
Melting breath out.
And,
With every exhale,
Your body begins to release one more layer of the day.
Good.
Let the eyes grow heavy.
Let your shoulders loosen.
Let the weight of your body sink down into the surface beneath you,
As though gravity itself is inviting you into rest.
And,
You may begin to notice a softening,
A warmth,
A sense of your awareness turning inward into the quiet places in your body where emotions like to hide,
Where tension likes to stay,
Where the leftover pieces of the day have been waiting to be released.
You don't have to search for them.
They will reveal themselves gently,
Naturally,
As you relax into this hypnotic space.
For now,
Simply imagine your breath becoming like warm golden light,
Flowing in and flowing out,
Soothing everything it touches.
Bring your attention now to the center of your chest,
The place where breath and emotion meet.
Imagine that golden light gathering there,
Spreading,
And as it spreads,
It begins to melt away tightness,
Softening knots,
Loosening old pressure.
Feel it moving through your ribs,
Through your shoulders,
Through your belly,
As though torso is beginning to thaw,
Softening,
Melting,
As emotional tension dissolves without effort.
You might notice a subtle shift,
An uncoiling,
A release,
As if your body is saying,
Yes,
This can go now.
Now imagine that every emotion you carried today,
Stress,
Worry,
Pressure,
All the thoughts you held in,
And the feelings you didn't have time to feel,
Have gathered into a small gentle sphere of energy,
Right in the center of your chest.
There is no need to judge it,
No need to label it,
Just acknowledge it,
A simple weight you no longer need to carry.
And with your next exhale,
I want you to imagine that this sphere begins to rise,
Slowly,
Gently,
Slowly,
Lifting toward your throat,
Toward your face,
Moving upward,
And as it moves,
It becomes lighter,
And lighter,
And lighter,
Until it lifts right out of the top of your head,
Like a soft puff of mist dissolving into air,
Leaving you clearer,
Lighter,
Let your body sigh out the release,
Naturally,
Effortlessly,
Good.
Now imagine a gentle current of warm air moving from the top of your head,
Down to your toes,
A cleansing current,
A clearing current,
It sweeps through the mind,
The face,
The neck,
Releasing tiny tensions,
Unsticking old emotional residue,
It moves down through your chest,
Belly,
Hips,
Thighs,
Down to the feet,
And every time this current passes through you,
You become lighter,
Quieter,
Softer,
As though your whole inner world is being washed clean by a warm night time tide,
Let yourself drift with it,
Float with it,
Sink into it.
In a moment,
I'll count down from 7 to 1.
With each number,
You'll sink deeper into emotional ease,
As your subconscious mind opens to the deepest rest.
7.
Sinking down,
6.
Softer,
Heavier,
5.
Dropping deeper inside,
4.
Emotions unwinding,
3.
Releasing the weight,
2.
Floating into stillness,
1.
Deeply,
Completely relaxed.
In this soft,
Receptive state,
Your subconscious begins to absorb these gentle,
Healing truths.
I am allowed to release what no longer serves me.
My body is safe.
My mind is safe.
My heart is safe.
I let go.
I am free to rest deeply.
I deserve peace.
Let these words echo through the quiet spaces inside you,
Settling into every cell,
Every muscle,
Every breath.
Now,
Your body is loose,
Your emotions are soft,
Your mind is quiet,
And you are ready to drift into a deeper kind of sleep.
The kind that restores,
Resets,
Renews.
If sleep comes now,
Let it take you.
If you hover at the edge for a while,
Float there.
Let the softness hold you.
You are light.
You are calm.
You are safe.
You are already drifting into a peaceful,
Effortless night of rest.
Good night.
