When you are ready,
Gently close your eyes and take a deep breath,
Without forcing yourself to breathe more deeply than you can,
A gentle yet deep breath,
And bring your awareness to your breath.
Notice the rhythm of your breath,
Is it short,
Or deeper breaths?
If it is possible for you,
Take deep breaths,
As deeply as you can,
Without forcing yourself,
And give yourself permission to just be in this moment,
With yourself,
With your body in this moment.
Notice the sensations you are experiencing,
Notice the outer sensations,
The place where down,
The texture of cloth that you feel in your skin,
Any smell that you may notice,
The rhythm of your breath and how your body moves with each inhale and exhale.
Give yourself permission to be in this moment.
When we are stressed,
Our minds wander in the future or the past and we forget to connect with our bodies in a deeper sense,
Feeling the feelings of our body,
Paying attention to our senses and to the feelings that we are receiving and experiencing.
Notice the inward sensations,
Any tension that you may be holding.
Give yourself permission to release it,
Give your muscles permission to release that tension and to ease into the safety of this moment.
Notice any feelings or emotions that you may be carrying from this day or from the previous day.
Give them your awareness and attention and give them permission to be.
The more we try to avoid our feelings,
The more resistance is created.
Notice them,
Bless them as visitors,
For there is a piece of wisdom in every emotion and maybe that wisdom is self-compassion,
Loving ourselves enough to choose to be present and to bless our bodies.
Bless your body in this moment with a greater state of being.
Bless your body in this moment with compassion and gratitude for everything that every cell in your body is doing for you in every moment,
In every second of your existence.
Bring your awareness to your breath and notice the rhythm of your breath.
Notice how every breath brings fresh air and positive energy and as you bless your breath and your body,
Your energy is rejuvenated.
Every cell is empowered.
Every cell is blessed with a greater frequency of energy,
With healing and good health and as you exhale,
Releasing the tension and relaxing deeper into this moment.
Notice how your whole body is moving with your breath,
Bringing a deeper sense of relaxation.
It is safe to surrender in this moment in your presence and the presence of this healing energy and the presence of these blessings.
Giving yourself permission to surrender,
To just be,
Without doing anything rather than just being.
Notice your body feeling more and more relaxed and at peace.
Notice the sensation of peace in your whole being.
How does peace feel for you?
Whenever your mind wanders,
Remind yourself that it is safe to surrender into this very moment.
There is no need to worry about the past or the future.
All that exists is this moment,
Right here,
Right now and as we bless this moment and every present moment after this,
We are blessing our entire life,
For the whole life is only experienced through this very moment.
And with this wisdom present in your mind,
In your body and in every cell of your being,
With every blessing and with a sense of gratitude for this moment,
For the safety of the present that will pass,
For the safety of the present,
For the blessing of this breath,
You can open your eyes as a new person in a new world.
