Welcome to this guided meditation to release a bad day and find inner peace.
Find a comfortable position,
Either sitting or laying down,
And gently close your eyes.
Begin by taking a deep breath in through your nose and exhaling slowly through your mouth,
Releasing any tension or tightness you may be holding on to.
With each breath,
Allow yourself to sink deeper into relaxation.
Feel the weight of your body supported by the surface beneath you.
Let go of any thoughts of the day that are weighing you down,
Allowing them to dissolve into the present moment.
Bring your awareness to your breath.
Notice the sensation of the air as it enters your nostrils,
Fills your lungs,
And then exits your body.
Allow your breath to become slow,
Deep,
And rhythmic,
Surrounding you in the present moment.
As you continue to breathe deeply,
Bring to mind any stress,
Anger,
Or frustration you may be feeling from your day,
Or any other emotion.
Visualize these emotions as heavy weights that you are carrying with you.
With each exhale,
Imagine yourself releasing these weights,
Letting them fall away,
Leaving you feeling lighter and more at peace.
Now,
Imagine yourself surrounded by a warm,
Comforting light.
This light represents love,
Compassion,
And positivity.
Allow this light to envelop you completely,
Filling you with a sense of calm and serenity.
With each breath,
Allow this light to expand within you,
Pushing out any remaining negative emotions and replacing them with feelings of joy,
Gratitude,
And lightness.
Feel these positive emotions spreading throughout your body,
From the top of your head to the tips of your toes.
Take a moment to bask in this feeling of inner peace and positivity.
Know that you have the power to release negative emotions and choose positivity in any moment.
As you continue to breathe deeply,
Affirm to yourself,
I release all stress,
Anger,
And frustration from my day.
I am calm,
Centered,
And at peace.
I choose to focus on the present moment and embrace positivity in all aspects of my life.
When you are ready,
Slowly begin to bring your awareness back to the room.
Gently wiggle your fingers and toes and open your eyes.
Carry this sense of peace and positivity with you as you go about the rest of your day or evening.
Remember that you have the ability to choose how you respond to challenges,
And that you are capable of finding joy and contentment in every moment.
