Hello dear one and welcome to this meditation to decompress.

This meditation can be done any day of the week,

Any time of day.

Whether you're just starting your day or ending it or perhaps taking a small break just after or before lunch,

That is totally fine.

Make sure that you are in a comfortable space where you won't be disturbed for the next 10 minutes.

So go ahead and sit on the floor or on a chair with your feet firmly on the ground,

Ensuring that one part of your body is touching the ground.

And when you're ready you can go ahead and take a deep breath in,

Hold and breathe out.

We often get so stuck into work mode that we forget to breathe,

Be still and nourish our bodies.

So now that you have taken the time to decompress and you're about to step into relaxation mode,

You've chosen to focus on self-care,

Calm energy,

Presence and confidence.

So you can go ahead and close your eyes,

Take another deep breath,

Hold and out.

With every breath become more aware of your inner being.

Another deep breath,

Hold and out.

Letting go of any tension and negative emotion.

Gently correct your posture,

Lift your chin and feel how your presence changes as you radiate up towards the sky.

Feel into your feet and how they connect to the floor.

Feel the energy of the earth beneath your feet.

Notice how this energy starts to move up to your ankles,

Through your calves,

Through your knees and your thighs,

Up into your hips,

Your belly and further up to your chest.

Feel how it lights up your heart and moves onto your shoulders,

Through your arms,

All the way through your fingertips and back up your arms and your shoulders.

Let your shoulders fall down,

Relax your neck as the energy flows through it.

Unclench your jaw,

Relax your ears,

Your eyes,

Your forehead and focus on your third eye chakra,

The point in between your eyes.

Visualise a movie screen in front of you now,

And on this movie screen you see yourself in your current environment,

Going through the day ahead,

Taking it all in.

Every task you are either set to do or have done,

Every action,

Every moment,

Now imagine the day at its best.

Notice all the beautiful things that are happening in this day,

Every moment of relaxation,

Every moment of joy,

Every moment of excitement and really tune into those feelings.

Dial up those feelings all the way up and then take that feeling into the tasks and actions that you are still set to complete before the day ends.

Breathe.

How are you going about completing it when you feel this way?

What's the feeling that comes along with completing your day this way?

How much time have you spent on your actions,

Your tasks and look at how much time there is still left for you,

For me time.

Feel how much energy you still have left for self care.

Identify the feeling.

What does it feel like?

Is it achievement,

Excitement,

Joy,

Happiness,

Ecstasy,

Satisfaction,

Peace or maybe calm,

Calm,

Beautiful.

And just see yourself feeling this feeling in that vision on the movie screen.

Beautiful.

Now make the screen more vivid and more colourful and brighter.

Place it in the top right corner of your mind's eye until it feels as though you are there.

Step closer to the movie screen and step through it right into that scenario.

Immerse yourself in this feeling and when you're ready,

Bring your attention back to your breath,

Breath in and sigh it out.

You have now become one with that version of you who feels excited,

Joyful,

Happy,

Satisfied,

Peaceful,

Calm or whatever else you just identified.

Now take this feeling into the day with you.

When you open your eyes in a few seconds,

You are going to feel those feelings even more vividly and you're going to finish the rest of your day with those feelings inside,

Fuelled by the energy of the universe.

Take another deep breath in and sigh it out and slowly open your eyes.
