Welcome,

My name is Kingo.

I created this guided meditation to help you calm down,

Quiet your mind and prepare you for a good night's sleep.

Find a comfortable position,

Close your eyes and notice how your body is resting.

So peacefully.

It is only your mind that is busy with all those thoughts of what was happening to you throughout the day.

It is time to let go of the memories of the past.

Stop worrying about the future and be fully present,

Right here,

Right now.

Begin by taking a few slow deep breaths.

Inhale deeply through your nose,

Allowing your lungs to fill with air and then exhale slowly through your mouth.

Feel the rhythm of your breath and let it calm your body.

As you continue to breathe deeply,

Imagine that all your thoughts,

Worries,

Fears,

Anxiety and stress are like swirling clouds or restless particles within your body and mind.

See them as they move through you.

With each inhale,

Feel how they are gathering into one big chunk of energy,

Ready to be released.

As you exhale,

Watch this heavy mass of concerns,

Worries and anxieties float away,

Leaving you with a profound sense of relief and lightness.

With each exhale,

Visualize your thoughts and emotions being gently carried out of your body.

Breathe in and breathe out.

Imagine the dark clouds dissipating,

Particles of these heavy thoughts and emotions floating away,

Leaving you feeling lighter and more at ease.

Remind yourself that it is ok to let go of them,

They no longer serve you in this moment.

Allow yourself to surrender to the peaceful stillness that exists within you.

Continue to breathe,

Letting go with each exhale and bring your focus to the calm that is now settling within you,

Both in your body and mind.

Take a moment to appreciate the simple act of breathing,

Allowing oxygen to nourish your body and sustain your life.

Your body is a remarkable machine,

Effortlessly performing this vital function.

Every moment of every day.

Take a few more deep breaths and as you do,

Bring your awareness to something else you are grateful for in your life.

Maybe even something that happened today.

It can be anything,

Big or small.

A simple pleasure,

A kind gesture,

An opportunity,

A meeting with someone,

A smile,

A nice cup of coffee or tea you had,

Or just the fact that you have completed another day.

Even if you think it could have gone better.

Pick something or someone that brings you a sense of gratitude and fills your heart.

Imagine a warm,

Radiant light glowing within your chest,

Growing brighter with each grateful thought.

Feel this light spreading throughout your body,

Infusing you with positivity and appreciation.

Take a moment to embrace the exciting possibilities that tomorrow holds.

Tomorrow is a new day,

A fresh canvas where you can create,

Learn and experience more moments to be grateful for.

You can choose to be kinder,

More loving towards others and yourself.

You can become a better version of who you were yesterday and today.

And you can choose to find more joy in your life.

Take a final deep breath and gently smile as you bask in the feelings of gratitude and positivity.

Know that each day offers new opportunities for growth and that should be something to feel grateful for and look forward to already.

Welcome the soothing embrace of gratitude and relaxation in your whole body,

Wrapping around you like a cosy blanket.

Sense your body gradually becoming heavier as you drift away into the realm of dreams.

Remember that each night is a chance for renewal.

Be excited about returning to your rested,

Rejuvenated body in the morning right before your alarm.

Feeling relaxed,

Energized and ready for a new day.

Sleep well.
