Hi this is Kim Carman-Walsh welcoming you to this guided meditation to be listened to as you are going to sleep There is absolutely nothing that you need to do,

Just lie back and listen Taking this time before drifting into sleep to let go of the outside world and connect with the quiet space within When making yourself comfortable in your bed Take a deep breath in And as you slowly breathe out,

Close your eyes and begin to relax Tuning in to the sounds you now hear,

The sound of the music,

The sound of my voice And the sound of my voice will go with you wherever you choose to go To guide you to the still space within And the words I use are just guides as you allow your intuitive mind to communicate with you Letting go,

Drifting down as you listen to the words Listen to the silence underneath the words The quiet depth that is present under all the sounds Noticing too the spaces between the words As you find your attention,

Your awareness is drawn more and more to the present moment Concentrating on my voice As this session unfolds,

You are always in the now As the past and the future dissolve away Allowing you to connect with your higher consciousness To the deeper peace within Noticing that the quieter,

The stiller you become,

The more tranquil you feel Enabling clarity,

Wisdom,

Patience,

Loving kindness To touch the true depth of your being,

Your authentic nature The part of you that's always connected with the now Aware of being content and open,

Patient,

Grateful,

Peaceful Going beyond your conditioned mind,

Beyond your thoughts Your relaxed,

Your breathing is steady and slow Breathing slowly in and slowly out Feeling the breath go deeply down into your stomach Aware of your stomach gently rising as you breathe in And softly fall as you breathe out Each breath letting go,

Going deeper and deeper down Breathing with the sensations of your inner body And as you lie there,

You can imagine,

Just visualise in your mind's eye You see,

Feel,

Experience a golden coloured light This light is going to travel slowly down your body From the top of your head to the tips of your toes Helping you to relax more deeply As the light moves over your body You feel your muscles smooth and relax Allowing the relaxation,

The calmness,

The deeper peace of your inner body As this light travels from the top of your head all the way down to your toes You can feel,

Experience now,

The warmth of this light As it begins at the top of your head The easiness,

The serenity as it begins to flow Gently and lightly down to your forehead Releasing,

Letting go Feeling all those muscles as they smooth and relax The light,

The relaxing golden warmth Travel slowly over your eyes And down your face to your jaw Parting your teeth just a little Your facial muscles feeling soothed As this warm golden light This gentle relaxation continues to softly and gently travel down the back of your neck And slowly across your shoulders Emotions of lightness and ease,

Tranquility and comfort As a relaxing light continues slowly down your arms To your hands All the way down To the tips of your fingers Continuing to travel slowly and gently across your upper back And softly down Down Down all the way down to your lower back Feeling so soothed and peaceful Still and quiet Breathing slowly in and slowly out The light,

The calmness Continue to travel across your chest And gently down to your tummy Your body just drifting down into a deep state of relaxation and sleep Deeper and deeper down More tranquil and serene As the golden light The peace and easiness flow down to your legs To your thighs Down to your knees To your calves Your ankles All the way down to your feet To the very tips of your toes And as your body is feeling so very relaxed and serene You notice too your mind is peaceful and quieter So very present to this moment Quiet and serene Going deeper and deeper down Drifting as deeply into hypnosis as you'd like to go Feeling so very relaxed You can envisage yourself now You're in a beautiful tranquil garden You're by yourself And you're standing at the top of a large stone staircase And the staircase leads down to another part of the garden In a moment I will guide you slowly and safely down the steps And with each step down you feel yourself relax deeper and deeper down So serene and happy To see,

Feel,

Experience yourself now As you take your first step down on 10 Letting go So calm and tranquil 9 Going as deeply down as you'd like to go 8 Content Peaceful And quiet 7 Noticing how good it feels to just let go 6 Allowing your body to sink more heavily down into your bed 5 Sleepier and sleepier 4 More relaxed than you have ever felt before 3 Heavier and heavier 2 Quiet and still 1 All the way down So peaceful and relaxed You're in this beautiful garden And it's very,

Very early in the morning So early in fact that it's still fairly dark in this special place You can see only a hint of dawn on the horizon A magical early morning garden walk You're filled with a deep sense of wonder and delight Walking slowly and serenely through this exquisite garden Each slow footstep Feeling more peaceful and relaxed And looking up you can see the twinkling early morning stars Gazing with openness Deep joy at the vast sky above you And the air is warm and balmy There is a stillness A quietness That you notice And you feel yourself resonate with this quietness The tranquil stillness being felt Experienced in your body The gentle calmness of being Beyond thoughts Quieter And quieter still You are aware that the sun is slowly rising on the horizon And ahead of you You see that the garden slopes down gently Towards a large lake You continue to walk slowly And lazily down towards the edge of the lake And you see that there's a large reclining chair Giving you a beautiful view across the lake And the trees beyond And this beautiful sunrise So taking a seat in this reclining chair You make yourself comfortable As you begin to see the first golden rays Of the morning sun As they begin to glisten on the water And the water is perfectly tranquil It's like looking across a glass surface With only the slightest of ripples It reflects the trees from beyond And the sky from above And as you notice the peacefulness of the lake Of all of nature about you You're aware too How very relaxed your body is feeling A gentle calmness A subtle soft energy Resonating from your inner body So light And tingling And your mind too Is more quiet And still The stillness within That reflects the tranquility of the water Taking a moment Breathing deeply And slowly And then breathing slowly out Breathing in deeply And slowly And breathing slowly out Looking out across the still lake You see a wood drake duck as it glides slowly And peacefully across the water The water about the wood drake Remaining perfectly still And looking out across to the other edge of the lake You can see a large heron It's feeding with gentle grace Your inner being resonating more and more With a piece of wild things The suchness of nature Not troubled by thoughts of the past Or anxieties for the future Residing wholly in the present moment From moment to moment As you notice your inner being Connecting with this piece The essence of pure awareness Beyond thought Beyond conditioning Just being the stillness of presence Quieter And quieter still Noticing as in your everyday waking state You use your senses to connect with the present moment Your sense of feeling very alive to this moment Aware of the whole subtle energy field of your inner body How very good it feels to be you Right here,

Right now A tingling aliveness The amazing beautiful intelligence of your being That is always present Always there existing under your thoughts Under your emotions The space,

The quietness that's within you at all times And feeling so very deeply relaxed now More aware of your own presence The essence of your true nature That's connected,

Loving,

Kind,

Patient and wise The paradoxically subtle and powerful energy of life Felt so deeply in this moment In your body In your awareness Gaining a deep insight That your true power The truth of who you are Exists completely in the present Welcoming the present moment With joy Acceptance Surrender Feeling more anchored In the now Flowing with what is Harmony Within and without As you choose to surrender to the universe To presence With love and openness Lightness Feeling your body And your mind Floating Feeling lighter Than lighter Letting go To depth Of peace and quiet Enabling you to connect with the quietness With the stillness of your intuitive mind The power that exists always Beyond your thoughts Beyond your emotions Giving yourself space Aware of the stillness The powerful presence Of pure awareness In the here,

In the now Always in the present moment To connect with oneness The space,
