Kimberly Johnson here.
I am so honored you will be sitting with me today exploring your inner world and your outer world.
We'll start today by just letting the eyes shut down or letting the eyes get heavy.
And as you let the eyes relax and let go,
Go ahead and bring the arms up above your head and just begin to shake the arms and hands.
Shaking,
Letting the blood move.
Shaking,
Making the heart pump and pump blood all the way up to your fingertips,
Reaching the arms up,
Shaking them,
Shake,
Shake,
Shake.
Shake a little bit more,
A little bit harder and then as slowly as you can,
Lowering the arms.
Letting the arms rest just right beside your body.
And I want you to just notice the sensation in your hands.
Maybe it's pulsing or tingly or warm.
And just taking some deep breaths,
Feeling your life force running through your body,
Pulsing in your palms.
And then take the hands and place them just gently over the heart.
And maybe bow the chin just slightly,
Almost like you're looking into your own heart.
And just ask the question,
What do you need?
What do you need?
And just feeling your breath as you listen.
Maybe you need some water or maybe you need some words of care or encouragement.
Or maybe you just need to tell yourself that you're safe and you're right here with yourself.
And just practice for one moment giving yourself what you need,
Taking the sacred pause to take care of yourself,
The sacred pause to check in.
Slowly just taking some really deep breaths.
Maybe whispering to yourself,
I am capable.
I can do whatever comes my way today.
I am capable.
And then opening your eyes and just slowly looking around.
And maybe taking one more really deep breath before you go back to whatever you're doing.
