Hello.
Welcome,
Everyone.
My name is Kristen,
And I am so grateful you are here with me today.
Before we begin,
I want to gently remind you of the power of gratitude,
Not just as a mindset,
But as a truly supportive practice for your nervous system and emotional well-being.
Gratitude has been shown to soften stress in the body,
Calm the mind,
And open us to a sense of safety,
Presence,
And connection.
It helps us notice the moments we tend to rush past and reminds us of the goodness that's already here.
This practice is meant to guide you back into that space,
A space of appreciation for your body,
Your emotions,
Your challenges,
And the simple,
Beautiful pieces of your life that sometimes go unseen.
So whenever you're ready,
Let's begin.
Softly close down your eyes or find a gentle gaze.
And as you begin to settle in,
Perhaps you place one hand over your heart space and one hand over your belly to tune in just a tad bit more.
Feel your shoulders begin to soften.
Your breath begin to slow down as your whole body just arrives right here with you.
Take a deep breath in through your nose and a slow,
Gentle exhale out through your mouth.
One more time as you breathe in presence and let go of anything you don't need right now on your exhale.
This is your space.
It is your pause.
It is your moment to reconnect.
Begin by bringing awareness to your body,
This loyal,
Steady home that carries you through each day.
Feel your breath rising and falling,
The subtle warmth beneath your skin,
The quiet rhythm of your heartbeat.
Your body has been working for you since the moment you were born,
Your heart beating on its own,
Your lungs expanding without needing permission,
Your immune system protecting you,
And your nervous system guiding you through the world.
So use this moment here to connect with your body.
Just to whisper a silent thank you for the thousands of processes happening inside you right now,
All on autopilot,
All in service of your life.
Let yourself feel grateful for this intelligent vessel that supports you,
Communicates with you,
And carries you through each chapter of your life.
Now gently bring your awareness inward to the realm of your emotions,
Every feeling you've ever had,
The heavy ones,
The tender ones,
The overwhelming ones.
Each has come with a message,
A lesson,
A moment of truth.
Take a steady breath in and honor the emotions that have shaped you,
The ones that asked you to slow down,
The ones that nudged you toward healing,
The ones that helped you learn about boundaries,
Courage,
Connection.
Breathe in gratitude for your emotional world and breathe out any judgment you've held about being too much or not enough.
Emotions are teachers,
And they have guided you more than you know.
So just take a moment here to give them some gratitude.
Now think of a challenge that you've walked through.
No need to relive it,
But just acknowledge its place in your story.
Notice who you became because of it,
The resilience you uncovered,
The strength you didn't know you had,
And the wisdom you carry now because of that experience.
Offer a gentle thank you for the lessons that challenges bring,
For the ways they help us grow,
Strengthen our boundaries,
And deepen our trust in ourselves.
Allow gratitude to soften any place within you that once held only heaviness.
Now broaden your awareness to the simple everyday blessings around you,
The warmth of sunlight on your skin,
The comfort and softness of your bed,
That first sip of coffee in the morning,
The sound of laughter,
Your favorite scent,
The presence of someone who cares about you.
As you bring your awareness to these simple everyday blessings,
Allow yourself just to feel moments of peace.
Allow yourself just to feel moments of peace,
Of gratitude,
And allow those small,
Beautiful things to rise in your mind,
And notice how your heart softens as you recognize them.
Sometimes the simplest things are the ones that nourish us the most.
Take a deep breath in,
And a deep breath out.
On your next round of breath,
Just let gratitude fill your whole body.
And before we close,
As you still have one hand over your heart space and one hand over your belly,
Take another nice deep breath in as you let it expand through your chest,
Down into your belly,
And feel the gratitude that you created for your body,
Your emotions,
Your growth,
And the simple,
Beautiful things of your life.
And use this moment here to thank yourself for showing up today,
For choosing stillness,
For choosing presence,
For choosing gratitude.
And as you are ready,
Begin to flutter your eyes open and come back to your breath.
Come back to the space around you.
Maybe you take a gentle stretch,
Find a smile onto your face.
And before you head out,
I would love for you to share three things you are grateful for in the comments.
What you write may be exactly what someone else needs to read today.
And together,
We can create a space where our gratitude inspires and supports one another.
Again,
Thank you so much for being here with me today.
I hope you take gentle,
Loving care of yourself.
Have a wonderful rest of your day.
Namaste.
