Welcome to this five minute,

Jaw pain reset meditation.

So breathing deeply through your nose into your belly.

Arriving here in this moment.

As the mind and its activity start to fall back a bit.

And you're more aware of your inner world.

Sense into your jaw what's going on in your jaw right now.

And see if you can come to a place where nothing needs to change about your jaw.

Maybe your whole body,

Your whole system is getting more relaxed right now.

And your jaw is also getting more relaxed right now.

But nothing needs to change.

There's no pressure on you and on your jaw.

And then breathing into your jaw.

Seeing if anything wants to release right now.

I am safe right now in this moment here.

I don't need to clench up to protect myself.

I am safe in this moment right now.

I don't need to hold the tension in my jaw.

My tongue against the palate supports my jaw and takes the pressure of it.

There's no one I need to bite back at right now.

And if there is someone I have a conflict with,

Where I feel I can't express myself,

I will work on that.

But right now in this moment,

There's no need to do any of that.

Because it's just me,

Here in this moment,

Breathing,

Enjoying to be alive.

In this unique,

Brief,

Human experience.

I look at any symptoms as a learning and not as a victim.

An opportunity for growth that gives me a sense of ease.

And a feeling that life is not as bad as I think sometimes.

And finally,

Let's take three deep breaths into the body,

Including the jaw.

And on the last breath,

Pushing out anything that wants to leave right now,

But not making anything leave.

Thank your body for everything it does to heal itself,

To support you in experiencing this life.

Thank the intelligence that operates within you.

And thank yourself for showing up.

All the best,

The Kiefer Freund Team.

Loved this. been suffering from jaw pain for a few weeks, something new and distressing for me, has started after a traumatic incident, suspect related. I love the tone of this, the no pressure to fix anything approach, the affirmations and it's a lovely voice. Thank you. Will revisit this one ๐Ÿ’—

This is just what I needed to release the pain and tension I am experiencing in my jaw. Having had oral surgery recently in addition to other major stressors, I have not been able to relax my jaw for days. This meditation helped me finally relax.
