Welcome to this meditation where we will release trapped emotions from your jaw.
The jaw is a very common place for emotions to get trapped.
As we clench and we get tense up when life doesn't go the way that we'd like.
When we find ourselves in stressful situations,
When we have arguments where we can't fully express ourselves,
When we experience anger and frustration,
These can all make our jaw more tense.
So start getting relaxed as you are here in this present moment.
Breathing in slowly and mindfully through your nose.
You don't need to be anywhere else right now.
You can be here in this moment and gift yourself this moment.
Just following the breath and being here fully without any stress about trying to be in the moment.
Just letting go and being here as good as you can.
If any thoughts distract you,
Any expectations for this practice or anything,
Just come back to this moment and your slow and mindful breathing.
Now start to bring awareness to what parts of your body have a dark net cast over them.
Meaning what parts of your body feel constricted,
Feel tensed up.
These are the places where emotions will most likely be trapped.
And as you are aware of your body as it's resting here and any areas of tension,
Just start breathing relaxation into them one by one.
Be as loving and as caring as you can be.
Knowing that with your awareness and with your breath you can release and comfort these areas.
Releasing and letting go.
Now let's focus in on the jaw.
How does your jaw feel?
Just bring non-judgmental awareness to your jaw.
Anything that is here is fine.
Just breathe into it.
Feeling how with every breath,
The jaw starts to relax some more.
Paying close attention if any feelings come up.
Just simply observing them without judgment.
Providing an open and safe space for these feelings to be released.
Because shining the light will definitely show you what is there.
And your light is your awareness and your non-judgment of what is here.
Maybe you even want to express kindness to what is here.
That you are here as a friend to help let go and release.
Breathing slowly and mindfully into the jaw.
Observing any feelings that might come up as they are being released.
And making room for feelings that empower you.
That demonstrate your joy for life,
Your gratitude and your love.
So as you've made space for new emotions,
New feelings,
A new sense of being that is much lighter than before.
Start to breathe these feelings into your jaw.
Starting with a joy,
A joy of being alive.
Breathing that into your jaw.
Feeling a lightness in your jaw,
A relief and also an excitement for what is to come.
For the adventure as your life unfolds.
For the opportunities that are yet to meet you.
Now moving on to gratitude.
Breathing gratitude into your jaw.
Being thankful for everything that your jaw does.
How it helps you digest the nutrition that you need to function at your best.
How it assists you when you express yourself.
And how moving forward it will assist you in expressing yourself authentically,
Lovingly.
In a way that feels right and true for you.
And now lastly,
Breathing love into your jaw.
You will know what that feels like.
Have your jaw basking in love.
A feeling that is free of tension.
A feeling that is free of trying to control.
But a feeling that flows and is accepting and compassionate.
And now move on to an awareness of your entire body resting here.
Sense how your body is light.
Sense the freedom that your being longs for.
That freedom is within.
That happiness is within.
That love is within.
And you get to shine it out into the world to make beautiful connections and make a difference in the world in a positive manner.
Thank yourself for taking the time today to release,
To come back to your center.
So that you can be who you truly are.
Now slowly bring your awareness back into this room,
Wherever you are.
And when you're ready,
Open your eyes.
Thank you for meditating with us today.
All the best from the Keefer Front Team.
Take care of your smile.
