In this self-esteem and confidence practice, you will first connect to the breath and body. You will explore the different parts of the body and release any resistance within. Then you will quietly listen to my words of self-esteem and confidence. Allowing my words to become your words. Feeling how my words create a sense of relief and comfort. In the end, you should be more relaxed, centered, grounded, and an increase of self-worth.

Transcript

Hello.

I'd like for you to sit in a comfortable position with your back up straight if you can.

And when you close those eyes,

Just begin to follow the breath.

Just a gentle observation.

Allowing yourself to just slow down.

You have been so busy today.

Maybe you've been talking to people or going places here and there.

Maybe you've been studying or working.

All of that doesn't matter anymore.

What matters is now.

This moment now.

So notice how your breath can begin to slow everything down.

And now focus on the body.

Just a gentle observation and exploration.

How does the body feel within the neck and shoulders?

And if there's any tension there or tightness,

Just direct the breath there and allow the muscles to soften.

You no longer need to carry the weight to the world on your shoulders.

You can let it go for now.

And now notice your breath.

Have you been holding on to your breath?

Or gripping or clinging or controlling the breath or the belly?

Just notice.

And let go what needs to be released now.

You're okay.

You are okay.

And as you explore different parts of your body where you might feel some tightness or tension,

Just breathe into it now.

And watch the space open.

You are okay.

In this moment we call now.

You can just be.

You can just breathe.

And then observe your feelings.

If you're feeling something that makes you doubt yourself or question yourself,

Then just exhale it now.

You don't need it right now.

It no longer is serving you right now.

You are no longer serving it right now.

So let it go.

And as you let it go,

I want you to stay in this quiet space within.

This space where you are safe and secure.

You are among a friend.

And I say these words to you and for you.

Because I get you.

I am here for you.

I see you.

Life can be so challenging.

I am here to give you a sense of relief.

To say what needs to be said.

For you and to you.

With ease and grace.

Of sincerity and truth.

Of who you are.

For the light that lives in you,

Lives in me.

We are all one.

We all deserve to feel good.

We all deserve a sense of relief when life makes us question who we are and what we are and why we are here.

I recognize the many good qualities I have.

I am a good person.

I choose to see myself in a positive light.

I believe in myself.

I am respecting myself.

I am believing in myself.

I choose to surround myself with people who bring out the best in me.

I willingly release all negative self-talk now.

I choose to only focus on the positive now.

I am grateful for being given the gift of life.

I now believe that I have the power to change my life.

It's okay to be me.

I can change.

I am changing.

I am changing my perspective of life.

I am making healthy choices that meet my needs.

I am setting healthy boundaries with people.

It is safe for me to express my feelings with others.

I am courageous.

I am capable.

I am confident.

I am smart.

Every day I am becoming a happier person.

I know that I have good qualities within me.

I approve of myself.

I am taking care of myself.

I value my mind.

I value my body.

I value my spirit.

I am confident.

I have a confident mind.

I am adjusting easily to new situations.

I believe in myself.

My confidence improves with each passing day.

I express myself with confidence.

I release the need to judge.

I release the need to criticize myself.

I release the need to judge myself.

I believe in me.

My thoughts matter.

My opinions matter.

My life is improving.

I am good enough.

I am okay.

And feel those words.

Should they stir any emotions?

And if it stirred any emotions of discomfort,

Then just observe it and let it go for now.

Lighten up.

Let it go.

Be a lamp unto yourself.

Light your path.

You are the path.

Life is an opportunity for growth.

So lighten up.

Release what needs to be released.

And be a lamp unto yourself on this journey,

On this path.

You are okay.

You are good enough.

What you are experiencing is only temporary.

All that matters is now.

Because you matter.

You are the light.

And you will no longer allow anyone to dim your light.

Be a lamp unto yourself.

Respect yourself.

Honor yourself.

Value yourself.

Home is where the heart is.

And we live behind our eyes.

You are a gift.

You matter.

You are good enough.

You are okay.

So lighten up.

Be yourself.

Let go the need to be fake or to please or to sacrifice the self.

Be authentic and true to you.

Believe in you.

Everyone is different.

Everyone has their own struggles.

For now,

Just be you.

Honor you.

Believe in you.

Lighten up.

And release what needs to be released now.

You are safe.

You are secure.

You are balanced and calm.

You are centered and grounded.

You can feel and connect to this peace within.

Breathe it in.

Welcome it in.

And you are okay.

You are perfectly imperfect.

And you are okay.

Now you can stay here a little longer if you like.

But allow my words to be your words.

Your truth.

Your knowing.

Your light.
