So,
Let's make sure that you're comfortable physically,
Maybe lying down,
Or seated,
Or just simply resting in a way that feels supportive for your body right now.
And if it feels good to you,
You can close your eyes or soften your gaze,
And then take a big,
Deep breath in through the nose,
And a long breath out through the mouth.
Doing that again,
A big inhale,
And a long breath out through the mouth,
And as you exhale,
Let the shoulders drop a little bit,
The jaw softens.
One more big inhale,
And breathing out,
Allowing your body to soften any place where you may be squeezing or clenching.
And now take one hand on your heart,
And one hand on your lower belly,
Your womb space,
And feel the warmth of your hands,
The steadiness of your own touch.
Feel your body.
Your body is here with you.
The two of you working together,
Your mind,
Your body,
Your womb space,
All of it working together.
Take a big,
Deep breath in,
And as you exhale,
Allow a sense of calm to spread through you,
Remembering that you are supported in this moment,
And all will happen as it's meant to today.
And now just for a moment,
Imagine setting down the weight of expectations.
You don't have to carry the outcome of the transfer.
You don't have to control what happens next.
Your only job right now,
Today,
Is to be here.
It's to receive and allow,
To just let your body do what it knows how to do.
And begin to take a big,
Deep breath in once again,
And another long breath out,
Shifting your awareness to your womb space.
Sense that space within you.
Imagine this space in any way that feels intuitive.
Maybe you have a clear picture in mind.
Maybe it's more a sense or a feeling.
Maybe you just tune into something that feels warm and soft and ready.
Imagining a gentle light there,
A steady,
Calm,
Comforting light,
A light of safety,
Of health,
And good luck.
Now imagine the moment of transfer,
Your embryo being placed exactly where it needs to be.
Visualize the transfer being successful,
Your embryo being held and supported,
Received and accepted by your body.
Your body responding in the ideal way,
And there's no need to make anything happen,
But just allow this image to settle into your mind and into your heart,
Visualizing exactly what you hope happens to happen.
Now bring your awareness back to your breath.
A full inhale and exhale.
Your body knows how to receive,
Your body knows how to support life,
And even if your journey has been complicated or long,
Trust and know all will happen the way it is supposed to happen today.
Allow yourself to feel hopeful.
Now tell yourself three times,
I welcome a successful transfer.
I am supported in this moment.
My body is doing its best for me and my baby.
I can hold hope without pressure.
I am allowed to take this one moment at a time.
Now take a slow deep breath in,
And a long breath out.
Feel your body once again,
Wiggling fingers and toes,
Slowly reawakening,
And as you close your meditation knowing that whatever happens from here,
You have shown up with courage and care,
And today is going to be a good day.
