So when you're ready,

Just take a moment to bring yourself into your body.

Take a moment to bring yourself into this space.

And just give yourself permission to take these next few minutes just here to focus on your special day.

Your equinox.

A day that's all about balance,

Harmony,

Gratitude,

And release.

Begin to notice your breath.

Inhaling that fresh,

Cool,

Crisp autumn air.

And exhaling,

Releasing the warm air of summertime.

Inhaling that fresh,

Enchanting autumn air.

Exhaling,

Releasing the heat of the summer season.

And exhaling,

Releasing the summer.

Taking this time as you're breathing to just note the transition.

Beginning of autumn,

The end of summer.

Every season serves its purpose.

Inhaling that autumn air.

Exhaling,

Releasing the summer heat.

And now as you continue to breathe,

On your next inhale,

Imagine you are breathing in golden light.

Almost like that beautiful autumn sunlight or maybe the gold of the leaves that are changing.

Bring that golden light energy into you as you breathe in.

And as you exhale,

Imagine you're breathing out silver moon light.

Inhaling that golden sun energy.

Exhaling,

Releasing that silver moon energy.

Creating this beautiful circuit of light and moon light.

And as you exhale,

Imagine you're breathing in the golden light of the leaves that are changing.

Creating this beautiful circuit of sun and moon energy moving in and out in perfect harmony and balance as you breathe.

And as you continue to breathe,

On your next inhale,

I welcome the new.

And on the exhale,

Think,

I release the old.

And on the exhale,

Think,

I release the old.

Continuing with this mantra,

Inhaling,

I welcome the new.

Exhaling,

I release the old.

Stay with that visual golden energy coming in.

I welcome in the new.

Silver light energy leaving.

I release the old.

Inhaling,

I welcome the new.

Exhaling,

I release the old.

Creating this beautiful circuit of breath.

Welcoming in the new opportunities,

The new season.

Releasing what no longer serves you and the energy of the past.

Inhaling,

I welcome the new.

Exhaling,

I release the old.

And now releasing the mantra,

Releasing those two light energies.

And just settle into an effortless breath.

Allowing your breath just to settle into the background.

And in your mind's eye,

Imagine you're standing in front of a campfire.

In a beautiful fall forest.

There are tall trees all around you.

Their leaves are gold,

Red,

Yellow.

And just slowly falling from the sky.

Down like the snow in a snow globe.

Creating this soft dance of leaves from the trees as they fall with gravity down towards the ground.

And you take a moment just to appreciate this beautiful natural shedding process the trees go through.

And the sun is low in the sky.

So golden light is illuminating the space around you.

Just that beautiful golden hour glow.

And you can smell the rich,

Earthy scent of the trees.

And you can smell the rich,

Earthy scent of the leaves resting on the ground in the forest.

And it's mixed ever so slightly with the scent of the campfire.

The sun continues to set.

It's getting darker now.

And it's creating this quiet,

Cozy feeling.

The forest is beginning to come alive.

You can hear in those little chirps the wind moving past the trees.

It feels so cozy here.

So you decide to move closer to the campfire as there's a little bit of a chill in the air.

And you find this perfect wooden chair to sit in by the fire.

The sun is set.

It's dark.

And you look up at the sky and the stars are just starting to peek out.

You take a moment to look at the campfire,

Appreciating its warm and comforting glow.

Appreciating the comfort it's giving you as it keeps you warm.

And you take out a notebook and a pen.

And you begin to write down things you're ready to release.

So you look down at that fresh piece of paper.

And you write down one thing you're ready to release in your life.

Then you tear it out,

Toss it in the fire,

And you say,

I release you.

And then you do this again.

Write down another thing you're ready to release.

Tear it out,

Toss it in the fire.

I release you.

And you do this again and again.

Writing down things you're ready to release.

Tearing them out,

Tossing them in the fire.

Notice yourself physically feeling lighter with everything you release.

You write down one last thing.

You can make it a big one,

Something you're really ready to let go of.

Tear it out,

Toss it in the fire.

I release you.

And as you sit and gaze at the fire once again,

The warmth begins to fill you with this deep sense of gratitude.

It's as if the golden glow of the campfire fills your being with complete gratitude for all that you have.

All the abundance and blessings you have in your life.

You feel grateful for all of it.

So you look down at your notebook once again.

You begin to write down all the things that you're grateful for,

One by one.

You write down the incredible things you have in your life,

The abundance of beauty and blessings that exist right now in your life.

You write it all down.

And as you do that,

You're filled with this deep sense of gratitude that runs bone deep.

Every part of you is filled with the warm,

Cozy,

Golden light energy of gratitude.

You continue with your list,

Writing down a few more things.

And as you do that,

You're filled with this deep sense of gratitude that runs bone deep.

And then when you feel it's complete,

You look at your list and you reflect on the abundance of good that is in your life right now.

You're filled with this overwhelming sense of gratitude for what the universe has brought you.

You see it all written on that paper.

There's so much.

And it feels amazing.

And when you're ready,

Take a few final moments by the fire to honor the abundance in your life and to thank it for helping you releasing what you no longer need.

And then once more,

Take a big inhale,

Telling yourself,

I welcome the new.

A full exhale,

Telling yourself,

I release the old.

Inhaling again,

This time telling yourself,

I welcome abundance.

And exhaling,

I give thanks.

And as you do that,

I invite you to open your eyes and close your meditation practice.
